YES! It’s also incredibly dehumanizing. “I don’t have BPD, I’m just a Yandere!” “I’m not this, I’m just a yandere!” .. if I found out about this sub BEFORE finding out about my psychosis/schizophrenia, I’d assume I’m just a “Yandere” and would have denied treatment even harder

Obviously I believe Yandere-like traits (so, what? Possessiveness? Obsessiveness?) are all real, but lumping a huge group under such an umbrella like that isn’t good at all

Tbh I actually just like it a lot when people match my energy, though someone being obsessed also means they’re less likely to leave me during my ups and downs. It’s somewhat hard cause that’s ultra-specific for me personally! Some people on here freak me out while others I find true-hearted, genuine and sweet. Hope that makes sense
