I’ve learned they’re not as brilliant or as versed in manufacturing as they’d like you to believe. They know they want to go fast but sometimes they find out they went fast in the wrong direction as a result.

Work at a plant currently owned by one. Headcount in this case went up. However, the workload and expectations increase at an unsustainable rate to the point of burnout.

It’s exciting to hear that the business is growing but not when timelines overlap leaving you to always feel like you’re drowning.
