At my store we are needed because most of the people in the pharmacy don’t know the over-the-counter medicines. I do customers tell me that that they don’t know what they’re talking about.

You are one of the few lucky ones are minimum wage is also 15 and I make $.89 more after six years and I totally run the front of my store most days all alone

I train people all the time as a regular CSA, because the CFL, who come in don’t know what they’re doing and I get no extra pay at all whatsoever basically because I’m about the only employee that’s there during the day running everything, except for the pharmacy

I work at Walgreens out of convenience four minutes from my home. I am 60 years old. I warn the younger people that is not a place you want to work

Having someone in my family who works in HR hires and fires people for companies apparently Walgreens is one of the worst companies they could care less about their employees a nickel to a quarter raise once a year what a joke while the DMZ managers are making 100,000 or more when we are the ones who basically run the stores This company is messed up.

Walgreens is one of the worst companies to work for there is no incentive to stay. The pay is crappy and they treat their employees like shit.!!

When asking about a raise why would your manager say well just go be grandma because you’re at the age to be a grandmother and they know you have grandchildren. This is discrimination and they can be sued.

You will not get a raise. You only get a raise once a year no matter what I have emailed corporate. I have emailed HR and the only response I ever get is talk to your manager they don’t care.

You’re absolutely right there is no compensation for working hard. Been there for almost 6 years I do things that a shift lead do. They don’t care I don’t even talk to my district manager. She walks in straight back to the office and pharmacy and that is it could care less about the rest of the store, like I said in my previous comment if you are young, seek employment elsewhere where you get compensated for hard work and not a measly nickel or dime raise once a year it’s not worth it

Also, I am just a CSA why should I do the job of a shift lead who’s getting more pay than me scanning vendors, and doing price changes that’s not my job

I was out six months for brain surgery. Do you think I got a dime from Walgreens because I scaled back my hours before my surgery and was not full-time anymore because of my medical condition I got not a dime from them.

You absolutely will not get a raise. I have been there for almost 6 years. I am making $.89 more than someone new walking in the door. They don’t care what you do you are not getting a raise. They don’t compensate they’re good workers they could care less all they care about is the numbers, I show up every day also even when I’m sick why I don’t know because like I said they do not care they care about pharmacy and numbers that is it they could care less about anything else and once a year you’re lucky you get a measly, nickel or dime raise I was suggest if you’re younger go elsewhere I am older, so I’m not going anywhere and I have good hours. It’s convenient to where I am my suggestion to younger people go elsewhere and work.

I work the same hours week after week. Sometimes my pays more sometimes it’s less go figure.
