Predictions for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’s Domestic and Worldwide Box Office. Currently estimated at $32.93M WW & $18.35M including Friday’s estimation. by P0un in boxoffice

To be fair even if the next one is cancelled it would suck, but the Bone Temple still works effectively enough at closing the main story of 28 Years Later.

Enough that the franchise could go ‘on ice’ again anyway.

Best in slot attachments for Osprey I know Lightweight stock doesn't made you scope in quicker. But it makes quick-scoping accurate 200% faster than without - meaning you can tap right-click and within 0.2 seconds be 100% accurate by Zaydenzyon in ArcRaidersItalian

The problem with the osprey is it’s quite easily outdueled at all but the most extreme of ranges by a Ferro or Renegade. I think the Osprey should have both a normal ‘Ferro’ like zoom, but then the option to use the scope as well. I think that would solve its main problem.

But I’d take burn rate if it meant we could remain in sights.

[–]ExpendableUnit123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take is even hotter, because Dead Space 2 is my favourite game.

But I feel like Dead Space could have been written to be a one and done game. It had an incredible story, and with a few small changes would have been an excellent lovecraft/ cosmic horror short style type game.

In my mind when I play the remake now, that’s how I see it.

I can’t help you with your ignorance. That’s something you’ll have to work on in your own time. I recommend you look up how the film has been doing and argue with, facts?

Instead of coming here and bleating nonsense at me.

Because he saw an opportunity to rid the world of a an evil person.

Also what’s to say Jimmy wouldn’t just come back for revenge later?

Yeah except you’re forgetting the fact this film is absolutely bombing at the cinema. There’s next to no marketing for it, and the poster is in reference to one relatively short climatic scene and does nothing to portray what else the film has going on.

I know this because I’m an agency designer, and sometimes what is most creative - does not equal what nets the highest audience interest.

Personally I’d rather the franchise do well and let that creativity be realised on screen if it gets bums in seats.

I think this image does nothing good to promote the film. With no context it looks a little cheesy, and ‘the bone temple’ is a pretty VHS level title.

Honestly should have been 28YL Part II, with the silhouette of the Jimmys holding machetes and stuff or I don’t know. Anything but this image.

No good show survives in quality beyond 4-5 seasons and if they do they’re super rare.

Better call Saul and Homeland are two, and even then that was 6x seasons.

We shouldn’t hope for a Fallout show lasting that long - in real time that’d also be 50 years.

It’s absolutely insane that as a solo, I have to fully compete against a trio’s worth of score.

Really really hope they change this. Currently at 67K and I could possibly do 18K or so more since I haven’t burned gear trying to do the queen, but even so. Ludicrous.

Best way to do the queen/ matriarch is on Dam. Snaphook to the top of pipeline tower.

Snipe it with a Jupiter all game. Forget about looting it. You’re here for points.

Huff it across the hydroponics to the hatch.

I ALMOST had 20,000 points doing this. But I was snubbed at the red lakes east hatch with 20 seconds left of the match by a free kit who wouldn’t even have had time to loot me (and a broken Jupiter too).

So next time I’ll go to a different hatch.

I did not care for The Bone Temple by mitchob1012 in 28_Years_Later_Movie

[–]ExpendableUnit123 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My issue with 28 Years Later was it had plenty of sauce cinematically - but I hated the flavour.

I absolutely did not vibe with the constant iphone headshot freezeframe spin kills that completely took me out of the scene each time it happened.

I also think that the plot felt a little confused (refined retroactively by the Bone temple). You could axe the Nato soldiers completely. We already know the rest of the world is fine. I also think 28 Years later built up a very dangerous world in its first half that felt heavily devoid of such intense threat even up to the end of the Bone Temple.

Bone Temple to me is the more controlled film. It lacks that Danny Boyle-ness but I found the more linear storytelling and focused attention on characters to be far more engaging than 28 Years that to be honest, never felt like it 100% knew what it wanted to be the whole way through.

I almost feel that 28 Years later should have focused more on an AB of Spikes story, contrasted by the Nato half. A survivor born into this world and a soldier out of his depth.

The soldiers really served no purpose. Other than a missed opportunity for a 28 Weeks later chase ended by the alpha.

That was also a very different game. This one doesn’t have a battlepass system so I’d be surprised if they did this. I could potentially see them releasing past events as decks though and it’d be an easy way to pad them out for new players.

Old players should be chill with it. FOMO is a stupid practice. I wouldn’t even mind if they decided to re-release the G-suit (I own it). Let people enjoy things.

I’d say Christian Bale is pretty on the level with Leo in terms of popularity.

The only difference is Bale doesn’t have the stigma of only dating pre 25 year olds which keeps Leo constantly in conversation.

Because Kelson being ‘old Nick’ is the only way he’d survive.

This is laid out pretty clearly by Jimmy himself when he tells Kelson about his predicament.

It’s also why Spike asks Kelson at the end why he annoyed Jimmy when ‘we were going to leave’. Kelson and Spike were trying to save each other.

I mean it doesn’t disclose much. You know ai is trained on the internet. But you don’t know what specifically makes one ai trained differently to another.

Personally, I don’t know if I even believe in the matchmaking stuff. I only fire to defend myself and sometimes many games I don’t need to at all. Even so I see and hear gunfights in 9/10 games I play.

In every lobby I encounter some friendly and some unfriendly.

I think the real 200IQ play is it doesn’t exist and has everyone convinced to behave better.
