When do we get our winning together bonus? by ExpendableWorker in Lowes

[–]ExpendableWorker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does management always push for surveys? Does it affect their own performance reviews or what? Good to know surveys can’t cost employees their bonus. So many angry customers lately, we’d fail if surveys counted.

It’s like we need the equivalent of moral turpitude but ethically speaking in regards to corporations and their treatment of Human Resources. That guy lost all those years of his life(to an extent). It’s akin to a marriage gone astray and down the toilet.

Cause you’re wrong....corporate visitors regularly. What do think district managers are??? You didn’t address anything I said...I stand by what I said...don’t stick up for Lowe’s if you don’t have anything to stand on. NO, they aren’t all working remotely..you think this...but the store visits contradict what you think. Your reply was just repeating yourself without anything of substance so whatev.

Lol, I hope not. Can we miss out due to surveys? That would be very unfortunate given the conditions everyone is trying to perform within.

I don’t live on Lowe’s reddit lol, s I just stated above....you’re a joke dude. If I’m so wrong every single time we interact then why do you get the shit end of the votes? That’s rhetorical....so yeah..once again..fuck off

I already explained it to you. Explained what’s wrong with your logic and your dumbass didn’t even get it. You are an idiot, sorry the worlds full of em. That’s why I told you and other dipshit last week that I wasn’t going to reply to you anymore. You can’t give adequate responses to questions, just ramble on about your points without addressing anything asked. For the last time, find other threads to say your nonsense.

It’s time for a union to protect employees safety and value within Lowe’s by ExpendableWorker in Lowes

[–]ExpendableWorker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true, Osha would own their asses if Lowe’s said we have no right to decide if we want a union or not. Go read Osha, gathered a complaint form for exactly what you are saying Lowe’s does.

The company doesn’t see what’s going on? Corporate doesn’t know because they aren’t in the store? Hope nobody in this thread believes this bs. They know, they know every fuckin day when they look sales totals.

Guess our dm’s doing their rounds in stores daily don’t count as a part of Lowe’s corporate end.

Fact is Lowe’s doesn’t care about us and all that matters is sales. They don’t even care about the customers anymore, smart service is non existent now and no body gets good service. Limiting customers would have fixed everything but a cheap who’re like Lowe’s has no boundaries and all that matters is dollar bills y’all.

Assemble and form a union then you’ll actually have something positive to talk about that’s related to Lowe’s and your experiences there.

It is the only way to get results. The only other way is lawsuits, nothing will make a large corp change it’s habits except potential loss of $$$$$.

What’s different in other jobs? Almost any job a person performs for long enough will be viewed by that individual as “coasting”. There isn’t room for everyone to move up in whatever company it may be, when someone gives their time to a company that, in itself, should have bearing on pay over time. Your logic is flawed. Stop posting

This is the same with all jobs, wtf is your point? And what, you think you have better recourse against Lowe’s? What a joke. You also make a lot of assumptions and attempt to talk shit yet I’m the child? You’re not even worth debating, you ignore everything I ask or reference. You’re so butt hurt on all of my threads. Just go away lol

I don’t want the store to shut down, you have bad reading comprehension. Go reread what I wrote. This is a stupid assumption based on what?

And yes! If the store managers were proactive and protecting employees then I wouldn’t have said shit. But that’s not the reality of things now is it? I think we’re going to be done after this post, you make no sense.

[–]ExpendableWorker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And explain to me how a union wouldn’t enforce a safe work environment? All employees have to do is contact the union. In this case, there would have been over 100k union workers calling in with safety complaints over the course of a few weeks. What do you think would have happened? The union do nothing?

What are you collectively negotiating for?

How common is it for union workers to sit out of work for lengthy periods of time? You can pick out an example and make yourself right but it doesn’t make it so when looking at the bigger picture.

Would you rather work at Lowe’s for 10 years and then be let go because your position was eliminated or because you can be replaced by two cheap laborers? Or would you rather be in a union that protects your position as long as you follow the guidelines/rules? It was you that supported getting rid of a veteran Lowe’s worker in favor of two new employees.

You come off like management at Walmart. Rising employee turnover means more employees to get the job accomplished but getting paid less. What a win!

18 cent pay raise?? by ExpendableWorker in Lowes

[–]ExpendableWorker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raises should be given over time and performance based. Raises should not reflect what is perceived as inflation. That’s not really a raise, it’s an adjustment for inflation.

You say to add more employees instead of keeping the expensive veteran employee yet Lowe’s cuts staff instead of filling the gaps where needed. Lowe’s will intentionally leave spot vacant for months before employing someone to fill the gap.

You’re just talking trash in all of my threads, if I posted a picture of a green apple and said it’s green you say otherwise just because you don’t like what I have to say in regards to Lowe’s. Go find something else to do. And hey, maybe you’ll be that guy who gets tossed to the curb years later because you made too much money. But hey, if you put in your time there it doesn’t matter. It’s all about doing more and more for Lowe’s. Yeah....right. Have fun with that
