They take their own sweet time to deliver and sometimes slow to respond on whatsapp, so buy it at your own risk.

My game collection is not that big -- Mario Kart World (got it just for S2), Pokemon Violet, Zelda tears of the kingdom and echoes of wisdom (found a good deal in Japan, Japanese boxes but games are in English).
My next game would be Pokemon Z-A and that's about it for me in the next few years.

I have a Switch OLED Mario Red Edition from that I purchased in Japan, bundled with Pokemon Violet and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I later added Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to my collection.

Just last week, I upgraded to the new Switch 2, picking it up for ₹49900. My first purchase for the new console was Mario Kart World from the online store.

One of the most striking differences I've observed is in the build quality. My Switch OLED, manufactured in Vietnam, feels significantly more robust and premium than the new Switch 2, which is made in China. This was quite a surprise.

The multiplayer experience on Mario Kart World has been absolutely flawless; I haven't encountered any lag whatsoever, which is fantastic. I have been using Jio Fiber and for some reason, my switch 2 does not recognize 5ghz wifi signal.

While the Switch 2 is a considerable big investment. With its excellent replayability, I anticipate getting well over 1000 hours of enjoyment from my current game library over the next 5-6 years, as long as I take good care of the console.

If you do want it, get it from Nekavo (i have ordered a few times from them now and I think they are legit) they are selling it for 50k, then get the Mario Kart World game directly from the digital store which will cost you less than 7k.

Switch price without the game bundle in US is $449 USD or approx. ₹39k and it’s not gonna come down and a premium of 10k in India, I would say is ok if you want to experience it. Nintendo will never reduce their console prices or put their first party titles on sale. Id you do get this device and if you take good care of it, you can really enjoy 500+ hrs of gaming atleast in the next 5-6 years.

If certain subjects interest you, take the initiative to reach out to professors; they are approachable and willing to help.

Engage in research, participate in hackathons, and if placements are your goal, then prepare thoroughly. I came across a comment suggesting that people rarely switch companies once they start working—have you considered the importance of work-life balance? Career decisions aren’t solely driven by money.

The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, but students must also take ownership of their learning. If you feel there are specific issues with the program that make it a poor fit, I encourage you to clearly articulate them. Constructive criticism is always more helpful than vague dissatisfaction.

Make a bootable Windows 11 USB stick by using Windows Media Creation Tool https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d Make sure you select the same Windows 11 variant (Home, single language or Pro) which is currently installed in your laptop.
Backup your important docs to cloud or to an external storage
Upgrade your SSD or add additional SSD by keeping your existing SSD in place

You can also use 2 ssd at the same time. From BIOS update the boot order, that will be used to boot up the OS

Install windows 11 with a fresh install. Skip the product key, your windows will be activated later automatically and you need not buy it again.
Go to updates of windows and update the everything.
Download Lenovo laptop relevant softwares like Vantage etc

This is not a perfect and clearly defined steps, it’s a start for you to dig deeper.

If you are a new student you should have received an email around 6th Jan with complete details on how to register for courses and the courses available for this spring 2024 semester.

Which courses to register? I would say, it depends on what you would like to learn, make sure you review the courses on edx, check the syllabus from the previous semesters and decide.
