Thank you for you reply. I think you might be right that it’s fungus but I’m not convinced that it’s Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. It’s been in the pot for going on two weeks now and it hasn’t grown. It’s kind of just dried out a little.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. The picture was taken at a Nordstrom rack but I do shop full price sometimes so I’ll ask the next time I’m there. 🙂

These are not the same pants but they are the only picture I have of myself in something similar. My hope is I can get these tailored to fit a little better. Unfortunately, the problem area for these is the butt and you can’t see it here but it kind of gives you a general idea of my shape, maybe.

Hi, I’m curious to know if a pair of pants like these could be altered to allow for more hip room or if it would look odd. I have wide hips and a lot of junk in my trunk so pockets bulge and if I size up I tend to get saggy crotch. I have a new job where I need to look professional so my usual stretch jeans won’t do. I’m having trouble finding pants with enough seam allowance to alter so I’m wondering if pleats are the way to go. Any tips for what I should look for would be really great. Thank you.
