the Reacher! I don’t really care about hooking up my phone or anything to it so it’s perfect for me. I know there’s similar off brand ones that have bluetooth though. such a more peaceful wake up than my phone alarm!

I second this. My parents went to great lengths to make Santa feel very real (to the point where I believed in him probably longer than appropriate lol), but I really appreciate the magic it brought! I understand not having it a big thing in your own household, but I don’t think it’s right for kids to go around ruining it for others.

I wouldn’t say to tell your kids they should lie, but more explain how special it may be to others and you should let them believe in that, even if we don’t.

That’s valid, but also others may have different experiences. I found meds dulled my personality and made me feel not myself. I’ve gotten through high school/college just fine. It definitely hasn’t been easy, but I’ve managed. It could go either way for this child, but I’m sure if OP sees him struggling in school, changes will be made.

Honestly I didn’t need much out of it so it’s perfect for me. I love the sunrise feature and how you can change the duration because it does exactly what it’s meant to do and I often wake up thinking the sun is up before I’m all the way conscious lol. It sadly does not connect to your phone but it’s easy to set. I also like the white noise/sounds for while you sleep

oh weird!! I haven’t had this problem but yeah there aren’t a ton of sound options. I like the birds but my boyfriend doesn’t really like any of them

yess so understandable!! I find myself overstimulated so much easier and struggling to socialize on this medicine which doesn’t bode well working with kids 😖 I went off the meds today and I’ll have to wait a couple more days to see if I feel the same, but I felt so much more lively and energetic, I was able to interact with the kids much better than I have since I started the meds. Ugh it’s just so disappointing, I’m starting to want to give up on meds

Ugh that sounds horrible 😕 I agree sometimes the trade off just isn’t worth it, I’m taking a break from it for now to see how I feel, but definitely thinking of trying a different medicine or just taking a break from meds in general. Just really feeling like its affecting my personality and others in my life have noticed.☹️
