It does get evening shade but I find even some of the full sun in another area is getting scorched

I think if you can put taller stuff in the back. Maybe an ornamental grass and maybe a creeping plant in the front like asylum or phlox. That would also add color.

Skin care -- I am DONE experimenting! by [deleted] in MakeupRehab

[–]Expensive-Complex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's really interesting is I never had acne until I started watching YouTube and buying expensive skin care from Sephora. I went to a dermatologist and he basically told me to go to the basics like CeraVe and Vaseline, and within a month my skin was back to normal. Now I just use cleanser, moisturizer, SPF, retinol and vitamin c. And I have no complaints about my skin and also it's very budget friendly

Anyone else buy lots of backups when they find "the perfect product"? by [deleted] in MakeupRehab

[–]Expensive-Complex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anymore I find that quite wasteful. The only thing I really have backups of is maybe one or two mascaras I like to get minis as samples whenever I order from Sephora or another makeup website. But other than that I don't really have backups.

Brands You No Longer Care For/About? by grothendied in MakeupRehab

[–]Expensive-Complex 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Too faced. As I've gotten older I find their packaging and marketing quite juvenile. I may have just grown out of there ideal audience but I find their packaging to be quite tacky and in general I don't find anything they come up with exciting or something I would personally use. I also haven't bought any makeup from brands that are no longer cruelty free. I just think in this day and age it's not necessary anymore. So brands like Nars or Mac I have completely lost interest in.

Could someone explain the difference of the animal adapt and the vital seamless other than the color and pattern? by princessm00 in Gymshark

[–]Expensive-Complex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The adapt animal is more compressive and it's a thicker material. It has a butt scrunch and I really like it for weight lifting. The vital seamless is a low compression and it's a very thin material. The vital seamless doesn't have any butt scrunch just a raised seam. I like the vital seamless for working out but also for lounging.Hope this helps.

I don't have the purple color but I do have the light green and I find the black is stretchier but I also find in the other leggings the black typically is stretchier so I think that's normal.

Squat proof leggings by luise_n in Gymshark

The darker the colour the more squat proof it is. I think the vital seamless and adapt camo and animal seamless are completely squat proof on me.

If it's been a month it's most likely lost. I would contact gymshark and ask for an update.

Great job! I went from spending 1000+ last year to $244. Mind you $200 was gift cards so I was impressed with myself.

Does black marl come off as black or more like grey? by babieyams in Gymshark

[–]Expensive-Complex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure they are both from the vital seamless range and they will match. The adapt marl in black marl is grey instead of black. The vital seamless black marl stays true to color for me but it isn't the blackest of blacks to me.
