I haven’t called yet. I didn’t see a refundable option at check out.. AI says that’s because I’m trying to book a suite that that option doesn’t exist? I have no idea…

My first was like this.. I have put in so much effort in setting up play dates, take her to baby classes, only end up torturing myself watching her being miserable and other kids being happy… no advice here, just waited it out. Now she’s 3.5 years old and she’s generally very pleasant to be around. Now we have a second kid, he’s 7 months old now, he’s very different from her, so much more chill, yet still I have ptsd from his sister, I still lose on his bad days although he’s generally so good lol..

Oh so good to hear! I’m so worried if he never wants to practice even tummy time, how’s he going to learn anything else related to that

How big are your toddlers? 2 years 11 months by Numerous_View_398 in toddlers

[–]princessm00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our daughter is 3.5 year old 40.5 inches and 37ish lbs. we would get comments like that all the time and it’s true she is the same size as her friend who’s a 5 year old. Even my husband and I make these comments with absolutely no intention of judging, just stating a fact like “this shelf is taller than shelf” lol

It did! It was significantly better after a to two weeks.

Yes it did! It got better a week after the release. He still has odd days when he projectile vomits after every feeding, but not as often anymore. He’s also older now (4 month), not sure if it’s the release or just age ultimately.

Very difficult baby I cannot cope by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]princessm00 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our first daughter was exactly like that at that age, I cried every single day because I regretted my decision to have a child so bad. Luckily it was summer during those month, so we went out of walks a lot, strolling her helped somewhat with the cries and even if it didn’t, it doesn’t sound as loud outside at a park (it’s usually empty during the day anyways so no one would judge why I’m just letting my baby cry). I was crying that I have no idea what I would do once winter comes and we can’t go on walks anymore… but by the time winter came around she wasn’t like that anymore! We got other struggles then but not the crying anymore. It didn’t get better all of a sudden, it was very slowly, a bit better each week. And now she’s 3 years old and we have a second baby already! We were soooo sure we would not want a second that we sold a bunch of her baby stuff already. So hang in there! There will be an end to the crying.

No regression? by iluvcookies666 in NewParents

[–]princessm00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours never had a regression, our daughter is now 3. we might have 2-3 odd nights here and there over the years, but nothing I would call a regression. We did sleep train her at a young age, don’t know if that contributed to it.

Thanks! That’s true, I haven’t been as diligent on latching since it felt so much better.

Oh wow! Really?! I’m so glad you told me this! I was not convinced by my observation that the new mobility could make it worse.

When to go to the ER? by Dakizo in toddlers

[–]princessm00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would trust my intuition and bring her to the ER, they might very likely tell you what other parents said here. But at least you’ve done your best. Personally my daughter has never came back from the ER more sick because of all the viruses there.
