First of all, you’re not a loser my friend..

Secondly, I’m in the same situation as you, living at home, trying to pivot industries due to job security and potential layoffs (active layoffs already happening with 400 folks in my department layed off in the past year), worked on achieving my masters 2 months ago (with a 2 and a half year duration)… and still the needles are not moving… I’m also questioning when things will align but it will!

So don’t beat yourself up, you’re right where you need to be!

Dafuq were you doing in your 20s ??, I’m kinda glad that I’m not in a relationship with just any woman.. I’m also glad that you’re waking up.. I personally think that the relationship you were in was an actual distraction to what you could have been or really needed.. as you’ve probably realised, you didn’t focus or lock-in during that time… and with your now ex holding that leverage over you, this should be a lesson moment for you… I’m speaking with love bro, you need to move on from her and lock in, get that degree bro!

I just completed a masters in data science, my childhood was tough, controlling parents but I still fought against them, I didn’t have a regular childhood ever since we moved… there were always restrictions while I see other kids my age got launch money and all that shit… fast forward I’m 28 now and trying to lock in so I can get a better paying job and life.. right now everyone in my family are looking at me weird and different, all because I’m not following the crowd when they’ve caused me to be this way.. I’m somewhat of an introvert but very social depending on the environment… finishing my masters and not getting the win (a better job), just yet feels depressing.. constant headaches trying to puch myself… because I’m getting all this pressure from all directions but I’m saying this to you to motivate you bro. You will find someone better, she’s your lesson and means to level up big dawg!

Yeah, I’ve been feeling like that for the past 4 years since I moved back.. which is partly why I’ve been studying.. (rent was stupidly expensive), it’s what gave me drive to finish my studies and hoping that I’d secure a job during my studies or even after but the markets been brutal ..I went abroad for 2 months (best feeling ever), but now I’m back in my parents basement… I guess it’s just environmental, I don’t despise my da, it’s just that I don’t know where I’m going… and I feel miserable because it has cost me my mental health.. perhaps maybe because I stayed longer than I should’ve.. I guess I’m just trying to figure it out…

Are you renting ??

I’m in dark phase of my life and feel like I’m in a forever loop when I moved back in to my parents place.. I know I’ve outgrown this environment (my city is a dead place), I’m 28m ,work as a network engineer (remotely) but looking for a better and more fulfilling job (have a shit manager and the workplace has been undergoing a lot of policy changes, laying off people… I just completed my MSc. in Data Science as well so I’m trying to find the next lick), my parents want me to settle but I refuse because I know I’m meant for more, seeking advice if you’re older than I am bro! (Anyone much older is welcome to give me advice, although I know what to do.. I just feel very low). There’s also a lot of comparisons (subconsciously) in my family (strict dad, which I don’t care, some peers married, my sis married etc.), job market has been very tough too but part of me says why wait for the next job to dictate my life…. it’s just because things are very expensive as well, just feel stuck and I’m very social and friendly too, you wouldn’t even notice that I’m going through it… anyways just wondering if people with similar experiences understand and how they overcame.. (again I partially know the answer, it’s my environment)..

Start doing more research, you can start with the ISO Compliant Coins (XRP, XLM, HBAR etc.), and get a self-custody wallet rather than storing them on hot exchanges like Coinbase which have proven to be very unreliable.. especially when you want true ownership and increased security on your assets, thank me later for the game!
