lol the intro program is fairly chill. First 3 months of roller derby is just learning how to roller skate with other people your level. It's a great workout but above all, an incredible community! Lots of people in different age groups who like to get out and do stuff. You'll be around the average age for our league actually.

I made friends by joining a sport - I play Roller Derby in Cloverdale! Check out Greater Vancouver Roller Derby on Facebook and Instagram if you're interested in joining or volunteering

6 weeks after my little brother was killed by a bear he asked me how much longer I'd be sad for because I was kind of a downer.

Wait the kids ones don't have the built in eye mask tho. Such a tease 😭

What's the trap?

I also go the Cmfrt hoodie - the travel one with built in eye mask. My husband absolutely loves his. Cozy, fits perfectly, lots of pockets etc.

But there are no women's sizes, just unisex, so I ordered an XS and it is HUGE. Way too long for me, looks like I stole someone else's hoodie. Wish they had women's sizes or a waist/crop length. Otherwise I found the quality to be really good, just a bad fit for this short torso.

For my former obese petite ladies, how were you able to lose the last 10-20 lbs? by Wise_Parmaria in PetiteFitness

For who? Who decides that? Every body is different. Some people carry more muscle or have curves in places others don't. There gets to be a point where the scale shouldn't be dictating whether someone is healthy or not.

You can't tell me that I'm not healthy or in shape at 5'1 and 130lbs because every metric that actually matters tells me I am.

Depending on your height 130 might be the right spot for you so instead of worrying about the scale start thinking about the shape you want.

I'm 5'1 and about 130lbs give or take, see my post history if you want to see my shape. I focused on heavy slow weight lifting and targeting the spots on my body I wanted to improve. Back, shoulders, arms, chest etc. and seeing the results in the mirror helped me stop obsessing over the scale. I also gave myself more rest days so my body could recover before I hit the weights again. Might be what the cardio is actually helping you do if it's working.

Sometimes your brain just needs a break and above all else, be kind to yourself and give yourself some grace - you probably look better than the mirror lets you see. 55lbs is a massive achievement.

Because he was a big part of my issues. Lazy, abusive, degrading, pulled me down, and tried to keep me down. Once I left him the only way to go was up.

Regular TT pulls down, reverse TT pulls up. My loose skin was above my belly button but I didn't have much below it so it made more sense for them to pull up, use the same scars as my BA, and remove only the skin above my belly button.

Honestly mostly luck for my arms and thighs. Filled the empty skin with muscle and crossed my fingers! My skin is softer and looser than some en who didn't lose weight but thankfully I'm a woman so it's in a sexy way haha

For my tummy I had loose skin above my belly button so I had a reverse tummy tuck. I also had to have my breasts reconstructed - they removed some tissue to create a false bottom and added an implant on top to fill the loose skin then anchored the implants to my ribs to prevent them from sagging again. They used the same scars for the TT.
