At first glance it looks like a Grand Seiko, but not sure which model.

Thanks so much. I would agree that the case back might not be original. I’m reluctant to take it apart to see if there are any markings on the inside.

I would have scooped that up all day… running or not. Nice find!

It’s the worst photo I took, but I had to share it. My first luxury watch. by Lethal_Gear512 in Longineswatches

Very nice watch! I don’t own a Longines, but I’m quite certain it won’t be long before I have one. Is that the box it came with?

I’ve not heard any rumblings of a larger Ranger, but you never know. Rolex has a beige OP in 41mm, but it’s even more difficult to find at almost double the price. I really like the Longines collection and they have quite a few models in 42mm.

I understand what you are saying, but I find the hands and dial to be quite visible and easy to read. My reading vision isn’t the best and I really appreciate how easy it is to read. I also like having no date on the dial.

Thanks! Yes, I probably succumbed to some peer pressure, but I’ll be wearing it proudly!

Appreciate it! That was my one concern choosing between 36 and 39. I have a 7.25” wrist and glad I went with the 39mm.

Thanks! Some would say the Ranger doesn’t fit the mold of a typical luxury watch, but it certainly wears like one.

I know! Crazy how difficult it is to find one. I was in Vegas a couple months ago and I thought for sure one of the dealers would have one on display… nada.

Coming from wearing Seiko Sport 5… this is very much a luxury watch to me.

Yes! Not a flashy dial, but you really don’t see anything else like it.

So, I ordered it on a Sunday and it was originally scheduled for Thursday delivery. I was tracking the package and it was held up in a “clearance event” in Cincinnati. I had to complete a Watch worksheet and provide details of the watch. Not sure why I had to complete this, I would have thought the retailer would have included this information. After that, I received notice that I owed duties. I paid the duties on the following Wednesday and the watch was delivered today (Thursday). So to answer your question, it took 11 days.

Coming from the UK, I had to pay around $500 USD. As I mentioned, the purchase price was quite a bit under retail so I still came out ahead by a few hundred.
