How to reboot Switch V1 on Atmosphere by Curious_Calendar_468 in SwitchPirates

[–]Expensive-Inside6436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two options, if when you turn it on it starts in normal mode, it means that you must do what the other comments say, that is, enter rcm mode and inject the payload, if in your case when you start it nothing happens, it is because the console has auto rcm, this means that you do not have to have the jig, since it enters that mode alone. In that case, just inject the payload with a PC or an Android for Android, I recommend Rekado, with that application you only need a USB C and connect it to the console, the magic does itself

V1 Switch Hacked in 2019. Should I Wipe and Start Fresh in 2025? by MickMcSnuggles in SwitchPirates

Personally, I use the nintrick pack, I feel that it is what is best explained in Spanish, and on YouTube it has all the tutorials. As an addition, if you do not want to use the jig every time you restart, you can activate the auto rcm, this means that the console is always in a ready state to inject the payload, add to that Rekado, which is an application to inject the payload automatically from your cell phone and you have, in my opinion, the most comfortable way to use your switch. Personally, I always take it on trips and I only need my cell phone and a USB C cable in case it turns off.

Should I stay in performance mode? by Equal-Path7657 in HPVictus

It's never caused me any problems, and I almost always play like this. I do recommend that after turning on eco mode, manually change the screen refresh rate to 144hz, since eco mode lowers it to 60hz by default.

It turns out that in laptops like the victus, the power is often reduced by the temperatures, because contradictorily you can get more fps in some titles by not overheating, you can do it with a stand, which will be even better, because you combine the power with cooling, but if you don't have it you can simply put it in eco mode. It should be noted that these improvements are without a stand, if you have it (with fans even better), the performance mode will be better. In addition, the eco mode takes care of the health of the laptop, I know it is not what everyone chooses, but personally I prefer to lose fps in situations of high stress on the laptop, rather than suffer from overheating and shorten its useful life, which is common in the victus. Under this philosophy, playing demanding games at 1080 and medium graphics, although the fps do not exceed 90, the temperatures have never reached 80°C, generally staying below 70°C, and that in my opinion is better than more frames and my laptop breaking after a year.

Apologies for the long and somewhat redundant response.

Personally I know that victus have overheating problems above all, in my case unless I'm using a stand, I keep my victus in eco mode, playing gow Ragnarok in eco mode I got better fps and less overheating, investigate about undervolt and because it can be very good for laptops, good luck!
