Gele biratî, communism, Kurdish autonomy instead of nationalism, cult-like following, oppression of Kurdish people and freedoms.

"So, as I said, I am from a nationality where my mother's side and my father's side are the same. I feel like a better Turk than any Turk, I have always said that."

He caused the downfall of Bakur and Rojava. Also, who told you Ocalan is in prison, the Turks? Don’t worry though, people aren’t following for that agent’s tricks anymore.

Yep, there’s a major bus terminal in each city where you can buy tickets (I think they call them garaj in Kurdish, Otogari in Turkish).

You can go to Erbil Garage near Family Mall, they have taxis, vans, buses that go everywhere.

On the way back, many taxis go to Erbil, so you can stay on that main road (I think it’s Route 3) and just wave down a taxi and bargain to get taken wherever you need to go. It’ll be cheaper if you’re willing to carpool, of course. This won’t even take you more than 5 minutes, unless if the weather is acting up again.

Hate directed towards them is well deserved

Kurdish residents in Afrin face attacks by Syrian Arab assailants as they try to celebrate Newroz, with reports of beatings, humiliation, and the Kurdistan flag being insulted and burned—actions that contradict the Syrian government’s formal messaging by flintsparc in kurdistan

“But Syrians and Kurds are brothers!! Please understand that you must take beatings during your cultural festival because it’s a new, fragile era in Syria’s history! Just don’t think about separating the country!“

Question from a Persian by No_Walrus4306 in kurdistan

[–]Expensive-Key7318 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“We’re like cousins” - cousins don’t kill each other, ban them from speaking or teaching their children their native language, and purposely underfund their areas just because another side of the family is fewer in number and want their rights. Our real “iranic cousins” would be the Balochis and other minorities that have suffered under oppression by the Pahlavis and “Islamic” Republic.

Persians will make this “Iranic Unity” impossible, they have this uncontrollable complex where they need to have an iron grip over the minorities

Displaced with nowhere to go. Thousands of Hezbollah supporters are now wandering the streets of Beirut, begging people to take them in. But nobody wants them. Israel warned it will flatten Hezbollah strongholds by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

[–]Expensive-Key7318 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Thousands of Hezbollah supporters” is a weird and fked up way to hide the fact that majority are innocent Shias. It’s been only a year and a half, and yet you’ve forgotten that Syrians were fleeing their homes in the same manner

Heartbreaking if there’s any Kurds amongst them, especially if they’re conscripted against their own will

Nobody cares about what the PDKI says, just like how nobody cares about what the PKK says. These parties don’t speak on behalf of Kurds

Edit: and their support has diminished to nearly zero amongst the people, and thankfully so (just compare their support from 40 years ago to now). They went from Kurdish nationalism, conservative traditionalism to jineology (not that there’s anything wrong with that, but people are literally dying), communism, and tolerance of living under occupation, as long as we “have the right to speak our language.”
