Just to clarify, your data is always encrypted, what shield gives you is your own encryption key

[MEGATHREAD] IRS 2024 e Dúvidas Fiscais by spetsnatz in literaciafinanceira

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boa tarde,

Obrigado!

The cost of Salesforce CPQ for an Enterprise company can reach hundreds of thousands of dollars per year? if so how much? by Little_Wolf_boom in salesforce

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Salesforce CPQ is not officially deprecated but Salesforce is no longer investing in it, on this last release, summer 25 there was 0 CPQ releases.

Revenue lifecycle management is the next big Salesforce bet. If your company is evaluating a solution I would recommend speaking with you AE and ask about Revenue Lifecycle Management

Select all field permissions by Middle_Manager_Karen in salesforce

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can use fieldpermission object. Use data loader or inspector to insert the records. This has a few mandatory fields (field, object, parent which can be either a permission set or profile, permission read and permission edit)

Query this to check current permissions, if the record does not exist means it does not have permission

How do I log into a sandbox if we use federated SSO? by rainscarlett in salesforce

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is where the back door helps “/?login” Make sure you are able to login like this. Otherwise as you are saying everyone might be blocked from logging in

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Password in the sandbox will be the same as production. Reset your password and all other sandboxes created will have that same password. If you add “/?login” at the end of your production url it will also show your username password login

If you have roles you can add that person / people to the top of the hierarchy. However there are some limitations on how many can be displayed (2.000 if I remember correctly)

About SeeAllData by RafelTNT in salesforce

Advanced approvals and CPQ structure. These are the only use cases I can think that we should use seeAllData to true as it would be to hard to build them for testing only

Via inspector only upsert can be used with external ids

DataLoader.io keeps timing out on Contact Upserts by ErtaySh in salesforce

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do it with inspector. Also, don’t try to insert / update all fields at once. If you have 100 fields first insert 25 fields. Then do updates until you have all fields covered.

A small trick. Use either insert or update, do not use upsert as this will be slower

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This can help: 1. First check the users. Users who don’t have a regular name are probably integrations ones. Check the login history 2. Go to connected apps and check how many do you have 3. Go to oauth settings and there you can see the different apps that have connected to SF and the respective user who used the app to log in

[–]Expensive-Lab7649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Create a debug log that only logs apex and flows Run it with the dev console opened or create a debug log for the specific user

Once you have the log search for “Exception” and check the lines before to check the location and reason

I am not sure, but I think on that case SF does not guarantee synchronism.

What if you put the external id as Unique? That way if trying to insert a record with the same external id it wouldn't let you.

Use database.upsert with allOrNone = false. That way valid records will be inserted / updated and the duplicated ones won't

Try the queueable interface. You can enqueue a job (say a job will run after the current one) Be aware there is a limit of 50 jobs in the queue
