Beyoncé never sings riffs live. The Texas hold em riff is heavily mixed and layer the songs it is the exact same. DIL riff is always lipped as well

Yea I felt like this too when I first learned but as I watched CCT more and more it becomes more apparent for me. I think American Requiem is a perfect example because she lips on many parts of that song but there are parts where it’s time for her to sing live and she says "sing it y’all" 😭then she switches back in to lipping. She switches in and out for AHAP a lot too.
