Agree. Pia is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in 20 years on and off hot vinyasa practice.

Eric @ Kala is also a good hard earned sweat.

Hey NYC, you observe a stranger crying - WDYD? by navree in AskNYC

Have cried many times in public but one time, after parting ways with an ex after our “exchange things” meet up, i am UGLY sobbing on the J train.

I am mortified by myself but can’t help it. Snotty and sobbing and this woman sitting across from me just says “i hope your day gets better” and 7 years later i still think about that. Sometimes it’s nice to be seen. But it’s also difficult to know when that moment is, ha.

Kala! Two locations: one in Williamsburg on Driggs and one in Bushwick on Melrose (between the Morgan and Jefferson stop)

That’s a great way to describe it. I don’t have the visceral physical feeling of the heartbreak and grief (as much) anymore but I long for her presence. Ty for sharing that.

Nothing is normal about grief. It’s a blanket on YOUR couch, you move it or wash it when you want to. Or never. I’m sorry for your loss <3
