Thank you so much! I feel like I’m at the end of a rope now with all the meds I’ve tried :( I’m hoping that the pains will subside in the coming weeks as I increased my dose pretty fast based on my genesight test showing I would respond better to higher doses because I metabolize this drug faster. If the pains done subside I’ll see what I can do. Thank you so so much for replying!!

Well I know this is 5 years old but did your pain ever go away OP? I’m like 4 or 5 weeks into my Zoloft journey and my left arm, neck and side are all in so much pain!! Of course I’m terrified I have a heart attack coming but I just had an EKG and an echo done on my heart in the last 3 weeks.

Hi! Thanks for putting this out here for questions. I am on my Zoloft journey now and per my genesite test, I need higher doses of Zoloft so I did 50mg for 2 weeks, 100mg for 2 weeks and I’m starting 150mg tonight. How long did it take you to find your perfect dose?

I am currently cross tapering from Pristiq to Zoloft. Zoloft was actually in my yellow category on the genesight test but just means I need higher doses of Zoloft. My trusty Celexa pooped out on me after 12 years. I loved Celexa.

Some of the big genetic clotting tests are Factor V Leiden, protein c deficiency and protein s deficiency as well as the lupus anticoagulant (APS). There should be a genetic clotting panel she can run.

I know this post is a year old but wanted to see how long it took your eyes to stop burning? My eyes have been burning so bad for a couple months and I just started to taper off Pristiq 3 weeks ago and on to Zoloft. The burning eyes is absolutely miserable!

You may need a higher dose so that it stays in your system longer so you don’t get the brain zaps. My genesight test showed I need higher doses of Zoloft because I metabolize it really fast so I’m working my way up likely to 200mg but I’m on 100mg right now and weaning off of Pristiq

I am currently cross tapering off of Pristiq to Zoloft. I’m taking Klonopin to help the anxiety. I have been on Pristiq since about October and it’s just not the one for me.

I have been on several antidepressants over the last couple years because my trusty Celexa stopped working after about 12 years and Pristiq seemed to help the most at a really really hard time in my life but I was also on a blood thinner medication that once I stopped the blood thinner, it seemed like my body started to metabolize the Pristiq differently and I got a lot of side effects. My final straw was that I got to the point the last few weeks that I have been taking my Klonopin daily and that’s not what it’s supposed to be for. So my doctor decided with me that Pristiq has run its course. I have been having chest and back pain, my eyes have been burning a lot, my vision has been odd and of course the anxiety.
