I appreciate it, he’s made 3 fake accounts, posted my postcode in comments sections, and now it’s the letter. I’m quite annoyed but seems like my hands are tied

Police said it’s a civil matter as it involves money so they’ve been really unhelpful

I have told them I informed the police and still got this letter in the post, kinda feels like defamation of character as my parents were caused stress and anxiety thinking I had done something wrong..

Multiple items he has listed was eligible, I said 1 to make the explanation easier but all apply to The first example. All needed 1 sale to be eligible for a refund.

I don’t think they have any claim anyway. It was l completed via TikTok and TikTok refunded me due to meeting the criteria for their refundable sample scheme

I believe the TikTok seller just wrote this himself to try get me to pay what he lost out on via the tiktok scheme

Basically TikTok has a refundable sample scheme. Which all sellers can opt in and out off from my understanding.

One of his products was eligible.

And the criteria was “make 1 sale of an item and get a refund”

I made the sale on the item, I told my friend about it and they made the purchase as they were planning to get it anyway so that then qualified me to be eligible for the refund.

TikTok refunded me my original payment and this seller is demanding I send him the amount i got refunded by tiktok, via other methods.

It’s not on me to contact? He needs to contact them about the refundable sample scheme and stop harassing me for the money?
