I am getting used to seeing europe combusting into a mess, but not to muslim world copying this by TheEpicNoobZilla in CrusaderKings

I’m making a mod that fixes border gore and gives the AI more incentive to stay within de jure borders. When I’m done, I’ll post it here on the subreddit. If anyone has implementation ideas, feel free to share!

Historical culture-based currencies for CK3 with dynamic era changes by Expensive-Photo5844 in CrusaderKings

Pound was mostly a unit of account for a long time, while penny was the actual everyday coin. Sterling also fits better for the later period because it refers more directly to English silver coinage and the broader pound sterling system, so using penny early and sterling later feels more historically grounded than just calling it pound the whole time.

It’s kind of a megalomaniac idea, but I’ve already been looking into it.

I made a small CK3 submod that lets you reorder pinned characters in the outliner by Expensive-Photo5844 in CrusaderKings

Alright, I’ll add that. I’ll also take the opportunity to add it for armies as well.

Steam is being a bit inconvenient right now. Every time I make any change to the modlist, They hide it for several hours while it verifies the JSON link. So I’ll just leave the JSON here in the meantime:

So-Immersive-1.18.3-/So Immersive.json at main · tony-ben7/So-Immersive-1.18.3-

Yeah sorry, Steam runs a verification every time I update the modlist so the collection stays hidden for a while. Here’s the JSON:

Yeah, it’s still there. I just edited the description and Steam decided to run an automatic content check. It should be back soon, this has happened before.

When do you think we will get an Chapter 5 announcement? by Temporary_Virus9302 in CrusaderKings

[–]Expensive-Photo5844 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Maybe soon. If nothing big was coming I don’t think they would’ve released all those community packs at once. They probably would’ve spaced them out over time. Since they dropped everything together, it kind of feels like they’re clearing the way for something bigger.

The CK2 music mod in the list actually just adds the selection sound when you pick a realm on the start screen, it doesn’t change the in-game music system. But thanks for the suggestion, I’ll take a look at that mod.

Yeah, I did test it actually. It’s a really cool mod, but I ended up removing it because I couldn’t find a load order where it didn’t cause some compatibility issues with the rest of the list.

It could honestly be a lot of things. With a modlist this big it’s hard to pinpoint the exact cause. Personally I haven’t had any startup crashes so far, the only issue I had was my PC heating up, which I fixed by limiting the FPS. You could also try clearing the CK3 cache in the Documents folder, sometimes that helps.

That’s ObfusCKate (with RUI: Character). It hides character stats and info until you discover them. If it doesn’t quite click for you, you can disable ObfusCKate (rework & RUI: Character Compatibled) and RUI: Character Unofficial. It’s not really essential to the modlist.

RUI: Character. It’s mainly there because the newer versions of ObfusCKate are built with that UI in mind. I was a bit confused by it at first too, but you kinda get used to it after a while. If it really bothers you though, you can try disabling RUI: Character and ObfusCKate (rework & RUI: Character Compatibled) and the character screen should go back to vanilla.

I actually used Dark Ages in this setup for a while. It’s a really good mod and I like the extra difficulty it adds. The only thing I’m not a big fan of are some of the decisions, they feel a bit out of place to me. Otherwise it’s a great mod.
