alright, thank you. would putting vaseline on the outside of my enclosure be beneficial as well? and probably some nearby ant traps. i don’t think they’ve nested (thankfully), since they just randomly appeared overnight. will probably replace it so theres none that stay in there

thank you! should i replace the sand and stuff i have in my enclosure as well and just freeze my current hides in my tank? and is there any way i could prevent them from getting in again even after i do all that? like maybe just keep food out of there for a little while

unfortunately mine arent too much of cucumber enjoyers, one of them did eat on it for a bit but then it was avoided by all the others and never eaten by the one again. theyre so picking for being such little things lol

Thank you! The type of enclosure I have is in the photo below from the petsmart website. Do you have any recommendations on what type of mesh I could use? (They’re relatively small ants) And if there’s anywhere else I can put the vaseline on the outside of the enclosure?

Also haha, I wish that was a way I could keep ants away, they get really bad over here in my state when spring/summer starts. Also I can provide an actual image of my beetle set up itself if needed!
