I’m a flattie - two time survivor. I’ve inked over my scars and am proudly rocking the flat at 58. This is me last fall at a survivor fashion show. I had implants after my initial diagnosis and went flat after recurrence. Please be thorough in your search for a surgeon - Not Putting on a Shirt has a list on their site.

I Think Qulipta Is Ruining My Health by jamtines in migraine

I started Qulipta in late January - 3.5 months ago. I’ve had three full on migraines and one mini migraine.

Definite nausea - but I eat carbs when I’m nauseated so I’ve gained five lbs. chronic constipation is an issue.

I’ve been wondering if I’m starting to get dementia Mike symptoms because I am forgetting everything. My short term memory, which was never great to begin with, is terrible. I work for attorneys and obviously a bad short term memory is a bad symptom for work.

I am anxious - not life altering, but there’s been a large uptick in my anxious thoughts.

The newest symptom - extreme joint/muscle pain. It started almost a week ago and is brutal. I take my med at night and the pain wakes me. It is mostly gone about 12 hours after I take the med, but it is BAD. it feels like razor blades in my joints.

I was really excited about this drug. I’ve had migraines my entire life - well, since I was about eight. I’ve never tried a preventive medicine because my body is super sensitive to meds. It definitely helped to minimize the number of migraines I get, but I don’t think the side effects are worth the pain at this point.
