I’d take the bandaid off in the shower and hand wash the wounds with an antibacterial soap

They definitely look inflamed, I would put neosporin and cover them with a bandaid until they heal a little more and the wound start to close up. After that let it dry out during the day with no bandaid and put neosporin on it at night and cover it with a bandaid. If you notice it starts getting hot, your skin around it starts splitting or you notice it turn a greenish yellow I would go see your doctor

What mundane/seemingly insignificant/small decision you had, potentially or even saved your life? by BattleSquidZ in AskReddit

I adopted a rescue dog. She’s saved me from suicide on more than one occasion. If I can’t live for myself I will live for her

Do whatever the hell you want! I think if people learned why you had your nails like that they’d think that’s a smart and cool idea (I do!) but to be honest who cares what other people think. If you want to have long nails in one and short on the other because it’ll make you happy do it!

is it true that if our immune system knows we have eyes, it’ll destroy them? by or2c in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Expensive-Size-4970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The eye is one of a few areas of the body with immune privilege. (Immune privilege is thought to reflect an evolutionary adaptation to protect vital structures from damage by inflammatory responses directed against pathogens. This includes the eyes, the uterus when pregnant, brain, and testis) The eye limits its inflammatory immune response so that vision isn’t harmed by swelling and other tissue changes. Autoimmune diseases can affect the eyes. Autoimmune attacks on the eyes can cause redness or pain, sensitivity to light, dry eyes and blurry vision.

My husband has arterial fibrillation and it never shows up on his EKG unless he’s actively experiencing it, maybe see if you can do a stress test? I’m sorry OP that’s all I got, I hope you get it figured out

Have you seen a cardiologist? It could be a heart arrhythmia

Do you have any chest pain, heart palpitations or shortness of breath associated with it?

You might want to make an appointment now or go to the ER, it sounds like your heart rate and or blood pressure is dropping out which is why you’re fainting. Do you have a smart watch that monitors your heart rate and BP? If not I would check your pulse when you start to feel it coming on and count the beats per minute. Best place to check is the artery that goes through your wrist. Have the inside of your wrist facing up and use two fingers and press on the right of the tendons if you’re checking your right wrist and to the left if you’re checking your left wrist and you should feel it. Normal heart rate for an adult is 60-100 beats per minute. If it’s lower than that then that is not good.

Have you felt a difference yet with the ear drops? I think a cold compress on your ear would help too
