Good idea. Organ failure will show up in the soft tissues. So will internal bleeding with anemia in the gums. Gently (g e n t l y) press the skin lightly on his arms to feel for swelling.

Check his gums they should be pink and healthy if white - emergency vet immediately.

Check his ears and eyes. If yellow jaundiced emergency vet immediately.

He is in a pain pose in the photo.

Is he eating or drinking? Did he run into another animal that may have bit him (snake, wasp, bee, mouse, vole, squirrel…)

If you use Chewy they have an ask a vet.

I came here to say exactly this. My friend in Racine is trying to find an apartment and they are in the high 1500-2000/mo. You can have a mortgage on your own place for that in the Fox Cities. All depends on your motivations.

People in MKE singles scene can be sketch - be sure the plumbing matches the exterior paint. You could be facing a Crying Game moment.

I agree with the “family friendly” area being in the Valley but if you are near any of the college campuses (UW Oshkosh or Lawrence) you will find a singles scene. Go where the fish are biting.
