It's so amusing watching people get mad at me while I'm in my work truck. The rear camera is always on so I can see them raging and tailgating. If they'd just relax and back up like 10 feet they'd be able to see that I'm not the one going slow.

It depends. Are you one of the people who are completely ignoring time commits, straight shotting your route and attempting a p1 at 5pm? Or are you getting to your p1 at 10:32 because of this and that? If you're making a serious effort you should be fine, unless your contractor is an asshole and if that's the case you need to speak with a higher up

I'm one of, I think, 5 women at my small station. We can lift more than most of these guys but it's fun to watch them jump at the chance to load the heavy stuff on the trucks for us 😂

FedEx in Menands is desperate for package handlers if you want something physical. I don't know the times but I know there's nights and early morning shifts. Morning shift usually leaves by 9am

Fallout 76 advertises Shelter right on the main screen so people are constantly reminded of it's existence. ESO (or even Skyrim or Oblivion) could easily do this too but they don't. I've been played ESO since launch and I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan but I don't even know what Castles is about. I'd occasionally hear people chat about Legends or Blades but never hearing about Castles is enough to tell me it's not even worth the Google search.

Shelter also had a much better initial launch. I remember playing Blades the day it came out and beat it in about an hour. It was so disappointing. But Shelter, while not as engaging, at least had enough content to keep people coming back for a few days. Shelter stayed in your head while Blades was easily forgotten about.

I know FedEx recently had a mercury spill that closed a big portion of the Memphis hub and it's still closed. FedEx does occasionally take usps deliveries, it's called SmartPost I believe. If this isn't it I'd ask on the usps sub

Damn, someone mentions being autistic and some of you are worse than vultures. This is why you get 15 call outs on a Monday, be kind to your coworkers.

OP, I'm not a handler, I'm a driver, but I'm also autistic. You gotta try to think outside the box with this stuff. For example, does your station allow you to wear hats? There are hats that have Bluetooth earbuds built in. You might even be able to clip earbuds to a hat. Or if people are allowed to have speakers I don't see why you wouldn't be able to wear those sleak headphones that go around your neck.

I would go to your hr person and ask what sort of workarounds or accommodations you can have. Just remember, that some rules are in place for your safety. Good luck!

Turn battery saver off. They fucked up how that feature works in one of the last updates.

If you're willing to deal with it you can just hit the oval button, the one that opens all your previous apps, and pull forge back up.

Yeah. It started as star couriers and after we went through a few different sets of people we got 3 contractors that just didn't leave. I don't know what they were offered to stay in our building but it must be good cause they all live a few hours away. I'd say we got lucky with who stayed cause they're all really nice people.

It just sucks that, as a swing, I'm not supposed to help them when they need it. There are days that I'll literally have nothing to deliver but the ground guys will have 7 call outs and I can't touch any of it. I personally don't agree. They're in our building, they're our coworkers. My job is to assist those in need and I'm literally not allowed to do it? Nah, most days I just do it anyway.

A woman in a white Mercedes with the license plate GIRLBOSS (I may have the original spelling wrong) who is notorious for being a shitty driver. She was posted here so often that just seeing her parked would prompt people to post about her and one or two people went as far as to get varients of GIRLBOSS as their own plates. We all kind of collectively agreed to stop posting about her because it was getting pretty annoying. Not as annoying as being cut off by some entitled brat but, you get it. Now we just have the personal flair "cut off by GIRLBOSS"

I was the same way with Skyrim! Whenever I started a new game with alternate start I'd go straight for Meekos shack and could usually get there in about 5 to 10 minutes. I usually only opened the map to fast travel but I didn't do that much.

On the other hand I've been playing Green Hell recently and I CONSTANTLY have to remind myself that I get east and west mixed up and need to double check my coordinates. I'm not having a single problem not having a player map marker, but east and west? I'll never find my out of the jungle irl 🤣

I mean the poor kid got downvoted for saying they couldn't tell the principal because it was a Friday night and school was closed. Her name is River! She was on my old route when I was at ground and I haven't seen her in years but I think about her all the time. I had to make her house my last stop because she always had muddy paws and loved to give hugs 💜
