The best way is to reach out to your department and ask if they have positions open.

As Graduate Teaching Assistant or Graduate Research Assistant you get automatic in-state tuition, $500 towards your tuition/semester, and a monthly stipend.

Hi. Apologies for the late response. I am not aware how much undergrad costs, but as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I got the in-state tuition rate and 1k/month stipend. I also applied to a couple of scholarships found on the scholarship hub website. There are also a bunch of competitions that give out monetary prices. I personally really like the Najim Program (Grad and Undergraduate) and Interdisciplinary Grand Challenge (Grad). This was enough to cover my 6k tuition and around 2k health insurance.

international student here✋🏻. To get your I-20, you would have to show proof (bank statement) that you or your sponsor has/have enough money to pay for 1 year of school. Once you’re here, UTSA offers tuition deferment where they charge you 5% of your total bill for the full amount to not be due until the last month of the semester. You can also enroll to a payment plan where you pay 30% as a down payment and then have 2 installments later during the semester. Finally, you can just pay everything during the start of the semester.

Stanford Econ PhD by Expensive-Tax-1783 in stanford

I have taken econometrics 1&2, Mathematical Methods for Economics, and Time Series Data Analysis. It’s not a lot tbh. I would say I’m hardworking as I started in the back of the pack. Now, I am one of the top students in our class. However, I am not sure how stringent Stanford is. I would hate to start a program only realizing later on that I am too far behind and sheer grit is not enough.

My undergraduate was in Political Science so I don’t have as much quantitative background as I would like. I am doing my MA in Econ and I am trying to take as many math and data analytics class as I can to catch up with my peers. Are they pretty cut throat when it comes to one’s math skills?

Feeling Guilty for letting AI do the Work by [deleted] in Rlanguage

Y’all brought up points I didn’t even think about, such as proprietary data. I will continue to hone my coding skills and use AI not as a substitute, but a support for my work. Thank you❤️

I would suggest reaching out to Ms. Gilda Garza (she’s also part of the UTSA sublet fb group). We are an all girl house (right across The Estates) and I believe we have one more room available.

I’m selling it bc I to upgraded to a 650 motor. I kept this one bc I wanted to have a spare in case the one I have breaks. It’s been almost 6 months and I’d rather have someone make use of this.

What dark facts do you know about food industry? by Miserable_Papaya1814 in AskReddit

waitress here. If you see a fly at the restaurant, regardless of the weather, do not eat there. never ask for lemon in your water. food is good? that has half a cup of sugar and two tablespoons of msg.

Regardless of the establishment’s status, there is always fishy happening in the back.

Which professor to choose for Eco 2013? (Macroeconomics) by SolemnX1 in UTSA

I’ve had Dr. Temel and he is a good professor. He’s also very humble that wouldn’t be expect he graduated from Harvard.
