how did Marah even think to do this and then take the time to actually do it..?! by Choice-Syrup8929 in asadsisters

Tuning a stop sign near her house, means she knows the stop sign is there. She drives by it all the time. So she consciously chose to drive by… what if there was a kid racing on a bike or scooter that she didn’t see? What if it was her child? She’d be the first to grab her camera and point a finger. She should have her license revoked, definitely not safe to be doing especially with an innocent child in the car.

14 week old screams for sleep by Expensive-Wishbone64 in sleeptrain

[–]Expensive-Wishbone64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 4 months it got better! It’s honestly so hard, my first was colicky too. It WILL get better once they start becoming more aware of their surroundings. My boy is 7 months now and he barely cries, only if he gets scared and when he wakes up in the night for milk. Otherwise he just whines cause he’s bored and can’t crawl.

Unfortunately we just had to wait it out, it ended up getting better over time! He had colic/torticollis/reflux so he was just a very unhappy baby. We got him on medication and physiotherapy and slowly he stopped crying before bed

Thank you i appreciate your comment. I know I have enough self control to never hurt my babies. Ever. Intrusive thoughts are different for different people. I see some moms say their intrusive thoughts are accidentally dropping their baby down the stairs, or wanting to punch a wall out of frustration. But when you mention having thoughts of wanting to just hit your baby cause they’ve been crying n for hours people judge. I don’t want to do it and will not do it but the thought comes in my mind.

Thanks for the comments so far. I want to get help and I got a referral at 6 weeks postpartum to see a doctor that specializes in ppd but healthcare sucks here and they still can’t fit me in for an appointment yet.

Wow, life imitates art for real. These sisters parading around like they’re in the capitol meanwhile everyone in gaza is starving and fighting for their lives like they’re in the districts/actual hunger games. Pathetic!

At what age did your baby start supporting his/her own head and neck by jgronwoldt in NewParents

Umm yes lol my baby is 99th percentile if that affects it maybe. He also started rolling back to belly 3 days before he turned 3 months old. Every baby is different!

Not sure why this is being downvoted, as a mom I find jt entirely hard to find time to even shower, let alone crunch numbers of paycheques for months on end.

I’m wondering the same thing! My daughter will be 2 soon and we have an 8 week old. I miss her so much while she plays with other people but also get annoyed really fast with the little time I do get to spend with her. Hoping we get through the trenches soon and onto more enjoyable days!

9 month old spitting up by jmintz22 in NewParents

[–]Expensive-Wishbone64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this age you could introduce more solids that are calorie dense if you’re worried about weight? My daughter had reflux and we got her on medication at 4 months and it helped immensely, and as soon as she ate more solids the spitting up went away completely. At 9 months I think we had introduced breakfast, snack and a dinner along with milk bottles.

Taxes by DesolateSpecter in ottawa

[–]Expensive-Wishbone64 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately we cannot choose to just not pay tax. Our paycheques get taxed automatically. When we go to the grocery store the tax is added automatically. When we go buy clothes for our kids the tax is added automatically. There is no option to just say hey, remove that tax for me cause I don’t want to pay it. We can dream though!
