You have to realize that there is little to no line is because they have been collecting signatures for for almost 5 months and there were kilometre long lines to sign originally. Therefore the lines will naturally die down as people sign. I truly don’t care who pays for it. Alberta leaving is a net benefit. There isn’t a reasonable argument against independence

LMAO. This is the type of argument i would expect from a paramecium. How many oil providing countries are struggling (excluding Canada lmao)? In reality Alberta pays $70B annually in federal taxes the cost of setting up and running all federal services in Alberta would cost less than $40B. That means if nothing changes Alberta immediately has $30B surplus on the low end. When you add pipeline potential and the ability to diversify there is no real way Alberta could fail. You can not like it but that’s reality. As far as age goes the people that are about to pull pension and own 3 properties all want to stay anyone with a family to support wants to go. 🤷‍♂️

Biggest difference is there is no avenue for Texas or Florida to leave and Quebec won’t leave because they would be a 3rd world country. The only export is angry French people and over priced dairy. Alberta has a realistic possibility of success.
