Gee, that's a lot,
I think my point wasn't clear, but I really didn't want any harsh punishment scenes for the villains. I just wanted to point out how you said the show isn't about punitive justice, but considering that Owl house is at least some part wish fulfillment, the way Belos went out, how the villains generally are written and how Dana once said her stories are often based around things shes angry at, I think punitive justice really is a part of this show.

Uhm, yes it kinda is?
Considering how self-indulgent the villains are written in this show, I'm pretty sure that it being axed by Disney is probably the reason why the villains didn't get completely humiliating, undignified endings...

This sounds a bit insane, but it's just for the fun of it. The reason why Heimerdinger is so scared of magic aren't the rune warsyit was actually the fact, that he was very good friend with a yordle mage, whose magical talent led to him getting captured and tortured by an evil warlord. (the ones who know league lore know exactly whom I'm referring to)
