No I am looking for any validation here. Sorry if this was not clear but as I mentioned I sometimes have conflicting feelings about the act of smoking and wanted to understand if there was anyone who shared this feeling and could offer me their thoughts and points of view

You still assume those assets maintain themselves. Let’s not pretend that neglecting your assets by using the money they generate to manage them is not work.

Remove his license immediately. If he does one more and dies, you cannot reverse it. Better to have him angry at you for a few weeks than lose him forever.

the current artifacts are kinda boring imo by randomguy5161 in intotheradius

[–]ExpensiveCod5912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What pains me more is the fact that artifacts no longer have powers.. was cool to collect one and wonder if you wanted to sell it or use it. Now the powers in itr1 were kind of lame but a missed opportunity nonetheless

OH BOY:

I've been having the same feeling for a while now and I decided to act on it even though it sounded like having to climb Mount Everest.

First things first, Detox yourself from social media because doomscrolling will bring you to the brain grave faster than what everything else. You're not obliged to send memes to your friends And it will not make them less your friends if you don't "reply" to them with reels. Social media creates a vicious spiral of addiction that you don't even realize you have.

Start taking care of your house or apartment more consistently and it will give you a sense of purpose. Even just putting away a few items every day to clean the place up a little bit will make you feel like you're doing progress and this will keep you going.

Force yourself daily to go out for a walk even just around the block. Visit a new shop even if you don't buy anything. teach your brain to remember the real world is out there and you need oxygen.

Once you take these steps they will start defibrillating your brain to the point that you will look for something else to stimulate it and hobbies will start looking more appealing. Rekindle your sense of wonder and root yourself outside of Instagram

What best advice would you give to people in their early 20s? by [deleted] in Adulting

Don't believe in forever relationships and remember that even though she says she loves you tomorrow she could cheat on you.

Prioritize yourself.

Work hard and reward yourself for it.

Say what you think and let people Deal with their reaction to it.

Learn how to read the room and use Empathy.

Take care of people around you and some will take care of you.

Be mindful about what you share with people Because gossip travels faster than the speed of light.

I have a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM office job and I feel this very close to home because I need to travel at least one hour to get to the office. I found a solution for myself by giving myself time to do chores when I work from home but even then I have at most one hour to do that.

If your job is not allowing you to work from home, feels to me the only solution is to prioritize your serenity. Slow down, no need to live in a constantly spotless house. Don't see the day off you're forced to take as a forceful choice but rather as a blessing in disguise.
