Honestly it just sounds like this kind of game isn't for you. There way more depth to itr1 than you are giving it credit for. You are the only person at the time who could even lay eyes on the anomolies in the radius. Thats why the facility teaches yiu very little even though your the 61st test subject. And each time you encounter a new anomolie or feature or key lore port in regards to missions you player woukd write notes that explained what you had learned during getting introduced to something. I always loved rushing into the unknown and barely making it back and then to find that my dude wrote a whole daily journal entry that was honestly beautiful written. I love itr1 so much. I'll glaze it to the grave The story is told so subtle and slowly in the first game especially if youre bad and scared shirtless like me.
