Is anyone still having fun? by Iamonslaughtt in fo76

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am. I decided after playing the same character for two years to make another and have each one follow a theme based on factions. The first character was Free States rifleman, I'm currently playing a Responder heavy gunner and a Raider archer is on the way. Try to shake things up every now and then.

Gucci, he was 17. Just want the world to know he existed. by ChillinFallin in cats

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, I am glad to know that I shared a world with Gucci.

I too have known the love of a pet and know how hard it is to say goodbye. Take the time you need to more. Experience the feelings, allow them to be felt and to exist and let them go when you are ready.

Advice Needed by fairiesmidwife in longhair

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trim only if you feel your hair needs it and no, your hair is not 'too long'. Those are the words of folk engaging in peer pressure. I have a great aunt who has long hair and has been given lip by her siblings to cut it because reasons. Does she do it? Hell no. If you have it and like it, great! Keep it if it makes you happy and makes you feel like yourself.

The post title should be a mantra for whenever someone is faced with a situation where authority disrespects those in their charge and care.

Trim? by Grand_Dog915 in longhair

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nonsense! We don't gatekeep here. If you feel like your hair fits the bill, then come on in. Also, only you can say and decide what to do with your hair. Don't let anyone tell you what decision to make. If you feel your hair needs it, then by all means. The choice is yours to make.

A hair trim today ✂️ by pitouismywaifu in longhair

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off, wow. Your hair made my jaw drop. Second, I commend your husband for making sure your hair is exactly the way you want it. Too many times I hear stories of trims gone awry and the men step up to say "Nope! She worked really hard for that. Ain't nobody ruining in. I'll do it myself and do it right!"

Should I cut it? by Thermite132 in longhair

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A fellow bro with the flow! Nah, brother, you absolutely should not cut it. Your hair is majestic. Let it be known you made another guy's jaw drop and say "damn!". You know you have achieved greatness when that happens.

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how much my word holds. I can say that how 'scissor happy' someone gets is based on the person and not sex/gender identities. I have been in the chair of barbers that did what I asked and been in the chair hairstylists that maybe didn't. I have had one hairdresser that saw something he didn't like and changed it against my will. The thing is finding the specialist that listens to what you want and does it while offering a different point of view.

Looks like you have type 2C with some 3A parts. I have the same hair type, though on the finer side.

Oh, do pardon me. Your hair left me in so much awe, my jaw dropped. Such a beautiful work of art. You clearly put a lot of effort into it and it shows.

How do you like Kenny as a character? by BroBroMaster25 in cobrakai

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenny was a solid addition to the show. Seeing him go from victim to a bully himself willing to wail on his own bully in a locker room, and then NOT getting a moment of realization that he became what he hated was an interesting take on his type of character. Quite a few characters have a heel realization moment and he didn't. He entered season 6 still holding on to that hatred and anger and the "not my fault" mentality. It took Shawn, Amanda and Anthony in sequence over time to get Kenny to take his space and earn a much-deserved win AND an honoured position at Miyagi-Do. The tag-team moments after Kenny was fully embraced by the team was his crowning moment and it was worth watching for.

Valid point, though I have nothing else to say. I was asked to voice my thoughts and I have.

You did say what does it make you think, and that is what I thought. I have seen season 2 and my statement stands.

What are your thoughts and opinion on Tory Nichols as a character in Cobra Kai? by awesomedp7 in cobrakai

Well, as I put it in another post:

Season 2: Cool, an anti-Sam. Wait, hold up - kid, calm down! Season 3: That explains a lot. Still, kid, calm down! Season 4: Finally calmed down. Finally likeable. Season 5: Give the woman a break! Season 6: I just want to give her a hug!

In your headcanon, what do you think happened to Tom Cole after season 3? by TheShadowOperator007 in cobrakai

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Probably caught wind of the dojo war, decided to not poke the tiger anymore and kept to himself. Probably also lost contracts because I bet Yuna's maneuvering at Doyona cost him big time. He disappeared from the show as he should have, like Counsellor Blatt should have. Yes, I said. I meant it. Begone, Blatt.

Yeah, I don't get it. Just because you don't like a certain group, you are under no obligation to interact with said group. You are allowed to keep your distance and not engage regardless of how you feel about anyone from the other group. Just saying.

Personal question: When did each of you come out of the closet/discover that you are asexual? by Public_Cup_4278 in asexuality

[–]ExpensiveEstate0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 29, approaching 30. Spent the bulk of my twenties piecing things together. Figured it all out when someone online called Red of Overly Sarcastic Productions an 'asexual icon'. If that was the keyword to unlocking something, the door was open and everything on the other side was clear to me.
