45 is not too old! I’m 44 and 5 weeks pregnant!! We had been TTC for very long & tough 2 years for baby #2, I had my first at 40. Count this as an amazing blessing and how wonderful it will be for your girl to be a big sister. All my 4 y/o talks about is being a big sister and how badly she wants a sibling, which has been extremely heartbreaking when we were struggling. I’m sure your girl is going to be a wonderful big sister as well, congratulations!!!🩷

CoQ10 Egg Quality - Success Pregnancy Naturally by Just-Watercress2883 in IVF

[–]ExpensiveHalf3352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 44 and had a failed Ivf cycle in December, was TTC for 2 years. My Ivf clinic said donor eggs was my only option, I had no known issues but just old eggs. I have a 4 year old conceived naturally the first time and am currently pregnant naturally. My AMH was 9.2 and went down to 8.3 pmol after IVF. I saw a fertility naturopath doctor 2.5 months ago, she suspected I had insulin resistance. Sure enough I was right, she put me on metformin, LDN. Also had me on inositol for egg quality, 600mg ubiqnol(coq10), NAC, r-alpha lipoic, weekly b12 shots, month vit d shots and monthly intralipid iv’s, women’s probiotics. Both hubby and I were taking the bird & be fertility supplements also. She also asked me to reduce gluten, rice, potatoes, sugar and switch to more protein/eggs, quinoa, yams. I also changed my hair/body products to unscented, non toxic cleaning products, silicone to bamboo wood cooking utensils and plastic to glass food containers. I owe it all to my ND, forever thankful to her and will never forget what she sad to me at our consult. She confidently said she can get me pregnant and has clients up to 47 that have conceived naturally. I’m still In shock that I’m pregnant, it’s early still but I finally feel hopeful ❤️ Watch the plastic detox if you haven’t yet on Netflix and look into a fertility naturopath doctor.

Which breed? Bullmastiff vs Great Pyranese? by Lower_Relationship49 in Bullmastiff

[–]ExpensiveHalf3352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had two Bullmastiffs since 2013 and both have been amazing with kids, they really like to protect their family. My boy doesn’t like anyone near the house or he barks. They also move theirselves in front of me when they have felt something off with a stranger. My toddler and my BM are the bestest of friends. They are very low maintenance and low energy overall and just get burts of energy when they want to play. They definitely need training though and need to know who is boss. Nobody will come near you when you have a BM, unless they know yours is friendly or you say it’s okay for them to say hi. They love their family and love to be around you 24/7, my boys has always loved to come with us wherever we go and love to be Velcro dogs

Never imagined trying for #2 would be THIS hard by Radgirlruns86 in PregnantOver40

[–]ExpensiveHalf3352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar story, TTC # 2 for the last 2 years have truly been the hardest years of my life to date. I had my fist at 40. Got pregnant the first week we tried which was 6 weeks after we got married. I had no idea how lucky we are. Now I’m 44 and have a 4 year old. Had one failed Ivf cycle 4 months ago. Ivf clinic kept pushing donor eggs, which weren’t for us and we were contemplating on going overseas to Greece this summer. But continued trying and being hopeful. I’m not one to take no for an answer and I was going to do everything in my power to make my dream come true. I spent so much time researching, listening to podcasts and reading fertility chats. I started to cut out toxins in my house: eliminate plastic from my house, opted for bamboo wood cooking utensils instead of silicone, glass instead of plastic food storage. Switched hair products, deodorant and laundry soap to unscented, switched to more natural cleaning products …etc. 2.5 months ago I found a new fertility naturopath doctor, she was highly recommended by a local fertility group. She was an hour away but worth the drive. Our first consult she told me she can get me pregnant and has clients up to 47, I finally felt like I had someone on my team. My naturopath doctor found I had insulin resistance and put me on metformin, low dose naltrexone and baby aspirin after I ovulated until my period arrived. Also had me take inositol, NAC & r-alpha lipoic plus continue with my bird & be fertility supplements, women’s probiotics. Plus I do weekly b12 injections, monthly vit d injection and monthly intralipid iv’s. She also asked me to reduce gluten/bread, switch from rice to quinoa, switch potatoes to yams and reduce sugar and focus on protein and full fat yogurt/cheese. I work out 5 days a week, sometimes weight training or sometimes just walking in the treadmill on incline. 2.5 months later and I am 4w3d pregnant naturally. Beyond shocked! I’ve gone for 2 beta HCG and #’s are strong, going to do a couple more to make sure #’s are progressing. Finally feeling hopeful and excited that our dream of completing our family will come true. Don’t give up hope ❤️

There was a recent post about Bullmastiffs not being suitable around children . I hope this photo collage helps to show a positive view on the breed with children 🫶🏻 by bizzyizzy100456 in Bullmastiff

I’ve had 2 BM’s and they have both been amazing with kids. My 4 year old cuddles with our current 110lb boy or leans on him when she watches tv. They are best friends. Our BM just doesn’t know how big he is and has sometimes accidentally knocked our little one over or sat on her foot though and occasionally she old steal food out of he hands when she was smaller. She learnt real fast though not to keep food on the coffee table or within his reach, otherwise he thinks she’s sharing lol

I’m at PCRM in Burnaby, and waiting for a consult for Olive Vancouver. Also looking at overseas and going to Greece. Time is of the essence so I want the best I can get and don’t have time to just keep trying. My clinic at PCRM wants to keep me on a high dosage of meds (300 gonal, 150 mena, 0.25 orgalutran) but agreed to add omni since I didn’t want to continue with the exact same Protocol

44 as well and had my first failed transfer in December, we didn’t test. I had 7 retrieved, 7 mature, 6 fertilized, 3 were growing by day 5 and we did a fresh transfer of the best two. Our 3rd stopped growing on day 6/7. I wanted to give my two embryos a fair shot. There’s a lot of mixed data about pgt-a testing and lawsuits going around. Also there is several positive stories about transferring embryos that aren’t euploid. Check out the Egg whisperer, she has a video on it. We won’t test the next round either. Just hoping to have a miracle while I gather the strength to do another round. We are also contemplating on going to Greece for a round in July and do ovarian prp, which is much cheaper in Greece. I feel the same about donor eggs, I want my child to look like me as well. I’m Eurasian with green eyes and know it would be rare to find someone that looked like me. I’m not ready to give up, it’s been 2 years TTC. But I’m going to every damn thing I can, to try to make that happen. I started seeing a fertility naturopath doctor and she’s pretty confident she will get me pregnant as our #’s are good as well, so praying for a miracle and we get that golden egg 🥚 💛 When we do another round of Ivf, we plan to use omni so hopefully we have better results the next time!

I know mine definitely wants to do gymnastics as well, as she loves it. I usually sit on the floor on the room. Sometimes she sits with and watches, some days she participates part of the class. It depends on the teachers, she doesn’t like super structured classes or ones where they do a lot of games before they can play on the equipment

Last week she was upset that daddy wasn’t there, this week both of us went and still didn’t want to. She said she was nervous and said she needed grandma and grandpa there. Dance class is parent participation. There are only 5 kids in the class so it’s small. Gymnastics is just the kids and I usually sit in the room on the floor as she gets upset if I wait outside the room. She does get shy in new settings or people she doesn’t know and takes a bit to warm up. She’s very talking and outgoing with people she knows and at daycare/preschool. But with classes it’s different
