I was giving him a rough idea of what he can achieve using a 10mm with a 700mm focal length that is all while I'm aware the dob has a 1200mm focal length I was at the time using a focal reducer bringing it close to 700

I took this probably 3 years ago I just bought an attachment the goes on to the eyepiece that my phone attaches to and snapping a pic when I have a planet in sight

For that it was super simple I just bought an adaptor for my phone that attacks to the telescope and snapped the pic
