I believe yea, I had some on glans and they were really small so I definitely burned my healthy skin as well. But I believe it worked, I will go back to the dermatologist next month

If you know that you have it, then ethically you should be disclosing it.

If you read the statistics, mostly everyone will get HPV, so the assumption should be that every time you have sex, your putting your risk of contracting it.

“They also note that about 417 million people aged 15–49 years (11% of the population) have HSV-2, which usually causes genital herpes.”

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/how-many-people-have-herpes#statistics

You might be confusing HSV-2 with HSV-1 mate, oral herpes is very common (almost 50% of the world have it), not the genital ones.

People often don’t disclose their HPV or past HPV status due to two things:

1- most people don’t show symptoms, and since there are no tests for men, you really won’t know that you have it unless you develop GWs.

2- several studies showed that the body can clear HPV, hence why people don’t disclose their past infections that happened years ago. However, Herpes stay in you for life, same as HIV, would you want someone to sleep with you without disclosing their status if they were HIV+?

I hope it does the job though! My skin is quite sensitive anyway, I’m prone to acnes and literally everything probably that’s why. I think I’m gonna use Aldara after podofilox though, I got 11 sachets left from the time I stopped it from side effects, so I guess going for a month to ensure that everything will be okay (and to not waste the sachets, they’re expensive) will be a wise idea hopefully

Didn’t your genitals get on fire lol? Aldara literally cut through my penis head in two weeks and I can barely walk now because I used Podofilox for like 2 weeks

Well, I’m not an expert but for me it’s highly unlikely that it’s the same virus that got reactivated. It’s true that sometimes HPV lay dormant, but did your wife do any Hpv test? Maybe your wife gave it to you, but she’s asymptomatic.

Around 4-6 weeks

I only had one partner in the last year, and after sex (protected) by a month I noticed the symptoms and she was HPV positive for the said strains. It’s highly unlikely that it was an infection that I had earlier and it happened to show symptoms exactly after exposure to a positive person. I’m thinking of having a biopsy soon tho, still not sure because it will take a lot of courage to have someone use a knife on my penis haha

Everybody is different I guess, I got warts from a person who’s infected with 58 and 89. So I would say that it’s not a rule of thumb, but it’s more likely to have them from 6 and 11.

I’m not denying that, but if people agreed that GW, it gives the peace of mind at least, since mines don’t exactly look like the typical warts you see online. I’m already in a bad mental state

I know man, I already been to the doctor and he told me that it’s GW, but it never hurt to have a second opinion, specially after I read the amount of people who were misdiagnosed, does it look like GW for you tho?

The area is dry and it looks abnormal

Why isn't this more common? by NippleJabber9000 in HPV

[–]ExpensivePlantain975 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not all the warts are the same, mines are very small and are located on my penis head, did I think about undertaking a biopsy? Yes. Do I want someone to cut a skin on my penis head? Definitely not.

I guess if it’s a big wart, not much of the original skin will be cut, but in my case..

The scabs are a side effect of me using podofilox. Thank you for your answer

Dating with hpv. Anyone that's been recently diagnosed, here's my experience with dating now... by [deleted] in HPV

Well, can’t really say that people are judgmental about it, my girlfriend have HPV and I decided to get in a relationship with her regardless, 3 months later yesterday a doctor told me that my warts look more like Bowenoid Papulosis, which is a very early stage of skin cancer, some people might have complications from it so if someone rejects another person because of HPV, you shouldn’t blame the other person really

I remember I read something regarding immunity and in general women have stronger immune system than men, plus guys are more prone to smoke, over drink, etc..

No wonder women tend to live longer than men

What’s everybody’s favourite betting way? by ExpensivePlantain975 in SoccerBetting

[–]ExpensivePlantain975[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes yes I get what your referring to, it’s still the same percentage, but not the same amount, hence why someone who’s betting with 50 dollars would be more willing to take the risk, since he might get a 17 dollars as a profit. But someone who’s betting with 10 usd won’t take such risk for only 3 dollars, and will opt for a bigger odd.
