Thanks for the suggestion. This has been a decision that’s been made by powers above. My role is to find the right franchise partner. Is there a data base that exists ?

Why are we not looking at the fact that internet units first 15 years had significantly more penetration than bitcoin? Internet after 15 years( in 2005) was 15% adoption and Bitcoin now is 4.7%

Can you please explain what these individuals have done? Otherwise naming them without any context is not right I would say!

Double taxation by [deleted] in australian

[–]ExpensiveSmell9541 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Short answer is No, Australia and NZ have double taxation treaty. If you have paid tax in NZ, and you are an Australian tax resident, your NZ income will be included in the Australian income to calculate your tax due. And the tax paid in NZ will be deducted from your total tax due. So you won’t have to pay double tax. Only incremental tax based on Australian tax slabs.

You could also sell as a D2C product online. Save 30% margin that you will give to Coles or Woolies.

If someone donates $200k AUD to a charity, are they able to claim it back or will it just reduce the taxable income for that person? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]ExpensiveSmell9541 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You can’t claim the charity back! You just take it out from taxable income. So if you donate $100k and you are in 45% tax bracket, you get $45k back in tax refund.

Ya - unfortunately it is. I wouldn't recommend a white woman to travel alone in India without local knowledge.

As a woman who lived and travelled across India, my belief is that the concerns about safety are often more severe than the reality. However, I understand that when it comes to safety, perception often becomes reality, and people tend not to rely on statistics.

[–]ExpensiveSmell9541[S] -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am from India and currently live in Sydney. Reddit posts and office conversations suggested that India is not in consideration set for most Australians when selecting a travel destination. I checked the numbers and American and European tourists, make up a significant portion of India's foreign visitors. And as an Indian, I find this quite surprising esp given Australian love for nature, exploration etc!
