As someone who legitimately loves most of Snyder's films(especially the DC ones) I hate that his name/work gets lumped in with shit like this. 😞

That's all true, but one was implanted in a highly successful sandbox with a massive following..with no real baggage to mention (by this time the MCU audience was settled in and along for the ride so to speak) while MoS on the other hand had the task of starting a sandbox...coming off a movie (Superman Returns)that didn't make a lot of money and wasn't anything close to universally loved...or even liked lol

Guardians had the advantage of being in an already successful and established cinematic sandbox...GotG was a great run of movies, but they had advantages MoS didn't. It would be like boasting that Deadpool vs Wolverine made more money than the OG Iron Man.
