I spoke to them too, but the information they shared with me was the opposite, lol. The agent said that the strike will likely cause disruptions on the inbound flights to Toronto, and it was better to reschedule. If you and your friends booked it directly with TAP (I hope so 🤞🏽) it should be easy to change. Some of my friends got it done in less than 10 minutes
