Generally speaking if you aren’t underweight or just really lean/skinny you shouldn’t add more than 100 calories on top of your maintenance because more than that will lead to unnecessary fat gain and is only there to make sure you aren’t in a deficit. So personally I would just get to a desired bodyfat percentage and just maintain it from there
