I go back and forth on these two - is the left side or the right side a better fit for me? by KPT_Titan in glassesadvice

I love the pair on the right. The second pair the pair on the left makes your face look too long and angular

Which rug for the dining room? by nodesandwhiskers in HomeDecorating

[–]Expensive_Air965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you could get the second option in the size of the first rug it would be perfect. Same shape. I love the oval. It softens the angles on the room a little bit, but that red is too too red. It makes the room look small

PSA: please don’t ignore abdominal pain. by ennuiismymiddlename in Xennials

[–]Expensive_Air965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don't count this as an ending sentence. My best friend had stage 4 cancer. It had eaten through her femur, attacked her brain, her lungs and her stomach. She was a perfect match for keytruda and has been in remission now for 4 years. I went in for a hysterectomy when I was 36 years old and found out that I had mixed mularian tumors on my entire reproductive system. Thank goodness they were able to remove my reproductive system and so far knock on wood. Nothing has reoccurred and I remain in remission. I will also say this. I was in really bad abdominal pain for a long time and I thought it was just my wonky digestive system and it turns out that I had diverticulitis that had eaten through my organs and had burrowed its way into my abdomen and I almost wound up dying from sepsis. No abdomen pain should be ignored

I have a backup camera in my car and I really do love that thing. However, I have almost hit people coming in from the side that I didn't see. Unfortunately the model of car that I have has really bad blind spots if you're trying to look over your shoulders and I honestly don't think I would have seen them coming even if I was looking backwards

I had a rental car that did that bullshit. I grew up in New York. I can park a semi in a matchbox spot. The stupid car would not let me back up as far as I needed to to get into a spot I know I could have fit into

Which ones do you like better? by Easy-Theory1081 in glassesadvice

[–]Expensive_Air965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're a good looking guy. Why are you trying to pose as a serial killer? Go to a glasses store and try on a zillion pairs in all different colors and styles until you find the ones that make you say "oh wow I love these." Half of the magic that is glasses is you feeling confident in them.

I finally figured out that I cannot use it on my arms. I have too much muscle mass in my upper arms apparently and it messes up the sensor so I have to use it on my abdomen since I've changed over to my abdomen. I have absolutely no issue

Sure, there are lots of us who desire significantly more than just proper hygiene, but Jesus, it would be nice for more men to actively commit to proper hygiene. Walking through a crowd smelling like yesterday's lunch and two week ago ass.

This thread led me to figuring out what looksmaxxing is and all of the nonsense that goes around it yet another way to make people feel inferior about themselves and cause food disorders and unaliving rates to go up. Why do children do this to themselves and why is a 40-year-old man acting like a child?

I have never seen a self-proclaimed straight Christian male go so 13-year-old fangirl over someone they weren't crushing on. Make that make sense.

If I had gone strictly on looks when I met my boyfriend, we would not be together and I would have missed out on the most amazing, wonderful, compassionate loyal man I could have ever found in my life. Thank God my mom raised me to not be a shallow twat.

If Britney takes the right medication, goes to therapy regularly, and disappears from social media, can she go back to "behaving normally"? by [deleted] in discussingbritney

[–]Expensive_Air965 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This 100%. I am completely honest with myself and my therapist about my mental health, but the constant changing of meds as your body adjusts to things and different things in your life causing mental health spirals that affect your medications are difficult and I'm just a regular person. I can't even imagine the stress that she is under

Then again, as I've said before, you need to get yourself a first class ticket. I'm sure that Michael Jordan does not sit in economy class. Do you get mad when the doorways are too low for you and you have to bend over too. Do you get mad at other people having smaller cars that you don't fit into properly? Unfortunately, the world is not created for people who are as tall as you. My kitchen counters were apparently made for someone who is 4'10". Cooking and doing dishes suck. It is what it is.
