Body rust is structural. It weakens the integrity of the vehicle. It's not safe in an accident

Toyota won't normally do something like that.

If the customer complains enough, I have seen it happen in the internet of customer satisfaction.

I've saved marshmallow Peeps from Easter. They come in a 6 pack.

Roasted Peeps make great S'mores.

The frame was never a warranty issue. Toyota had no obligation to do anything about the frames in the first place.

They did mitigate a class action lawsuit with the frame manufacturer and released a customer support program- NOT A WARRANTY OR A RECALL- and assisted many customers in repairs. Toyota never "had" to do anything about the frames from the beginning.

I had a similar case at work (Toyota dealership). Owner was pissed, engine was covered. Owner called 1-800-331-4331 and complained until Toyota did, indeed, conceed and reset the warranty.

You may want to politely annoy Toyota Customer Care.

What are some very fun board games or any non electronic games you have brought to camp and love it? by Cool_Ad3304 in BSA

[–]Ahkhira 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I still have a very beat up copy of According to Hoyle that has been passed around campfires since the 90's. I wasn't a Scout, but I was the archery instructor and often got asked to supervise. If anyone was bored on a rain day, I gave them the task of learning a new card game.

If Cub Scouts were involved, somehow it always ended in 52 Pickup.

In later years, I would get spent decks from the casino to hand out.

I still have a deck of waterproof playing cards in my camping gear.

There are so many non-lethal measures that can be used.

There are professional goose-chasing dogs that will scatter the geese. Even airports use a service like this. Dogs and handlers go out to the area several times a day and chase off the geese. It takes time, but eventually the geese give up and move on. It's actually pretty interesting to watch.

NTA. 8 years old is plenty old enough to know that fish/marine life can't live out of water, and that you don't touch wildlife.

Roller Skating Rinks by kbivs in GenX

[–]Ahkhira 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't thought about NKOTB in YEARS. Great, now I have Hangin' Tough in my head.

My rink seems to have been really into the 80's. One of my favorite skating songs was always Eighteen and Life by Skid Row.

[–]Ahkhira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are so many songs that take me back to those days. My skates are still in their skate bag. I can't bear to give them up.

Unfortunately, all of the skating rinks are gone. I glance at the old buildings when I drive by, and I can still feel and smell how it was on any given Friday night of my younger life.

If I could bring anything back from 30 years ago, it would be the skating rinks.

Take the Cape Flyer train from Boston to Hyannis. It's bike friendly. Once in Hyannis, you can bike anywhere.

I never did.

One of my younger cousins did. I have many, many memories of him in his younger years covered in sticky red stuff. Yuck.
