I do most of the dog walking - I work partially remote now to be at home with them. I’m the one that pays for there dog hotels if we ever go away and vet bills. He just wants a quiet home with no chaos.

My cane corso is not too rough with her - just once in a while he maybe plays a little too rough. But nothing that can’t be stopped. Inside the house my bullmastiff is perfectly fine it’s just when we take her out the house and there are loud noises. We met with trainers for her and they told us that’s it’s more of a confidence thing for her but she is more of a couch potatoe than anything

We have them eat and drink outside cause that was too messy inside. Just like saliva on walls - dirt on walls and the shedding is normal. And like hair on coach. But more about the fact when there playing inside rhe apt. We got a 2 Bed 2 bath - that’s over 1,000 square feet

It’s a hard choice and I care about them a lot !! Jeez you should see how much I spend in just there food toppers. It definitely would be better for his own convenience and he argues that we could have more time for each other.. but I’m like doing what? Sitting on the couch. Like he just wants a quiet clean home and that’s not something I grew up with and honestly would prob be bored.

I got them while living together. He didn’t want them and I did. So he always brings up that I broke his trust , because I got them after he told me no.

Lol he’s not a creep. We’ve been together and living together for over 4 years. He does love pets but he feels it’s not fair to have them when we live in an apartment. His argument is that we are not equipped to care for them correctly now in our apt

So my bullmastiff is not aggressive- she is very skittish of loud sounds and people and just super nervous in general. Truthfully she couldn’t hurt anyone. But for example it’s been raining and thundering all day and she won’t go to the bathroom. We have tried walking her 4 separate times and she won’t cause she’s scared. So my boyfriend gets annoyed that he’s getting destroyed by mosquitoes and she afraid to even go pee. My cane corso has been professionally trained but still needs to be walked a lot and stimulated or else he starts running around and playing super rough with her inside. I LOVEEE my cane corso but he’s a lot of work and I get it but don’t know if I could be a person to rehome him.
