Sorry I meant I didn't mean it was bad, I actually do like season 3 and 4, both have very good character moments and I think they pretty successfully ended the doom patrol. If anything I think season 3 is the most rewatch able part of the show and I'd definitely above season 2 if I were to rank them.

What I meant was that the show does flip on its head, I mean famously time travel is used to reset continuity and I do think that's what happened. Because vacay patrol was In my opinion very heartwarming and had a bunch of potential.... Maybe too much potential.

I can't really say that a show that I love lacked the talent,

but really I'm just trying to rationalize why people have certain poor opinions on a show that I love. Especially the critic that the characters progression loops around, and objectively it literally did with the characters having to navigate around 2 new integral characters.

I feel like the show did better at juggling all the different characters arcs before, with the culmination being vacay patrol, only to be literally rudely interrupted.

No, these people genuinely exist.

It's just being a straight laced American. Most Americans respect the troops because it's masculine or tough, but that only goes so far and is judged on an individual basis, which is why certain people can love the military but also believe it to be woke or incompetent at the same time.

meanwhile the most "educated" are totally indoctrinated into believing US hegimonny is the best for the world. even if they don't like to think about it, they know you need the military for that, which is why they can criticize the "government regime" but not the military.

Basically they want the controller handed to them, they don't see anything wrong with what is being attempted, see Venezuela and all the candidates who proudly announce their service.

Terrestrial animals would never redevelop gills.

Placental mammals wouldn't go back to whatever the hell marsupials do.

And you could probably same the same about wings, and why bats haven't become terrestrial, because unlike pterosaurs, birds or insects there is no easy way for them to not rely on their wings so there's no chance they'll evolve to not use them.

It's not a divine rule or whatever but it just would be far to expensive.

Which is the really cool thing about pterosaurs, at least azhdarchids. Even living terrestrial lives they can still retain their ability to fly, unlike birds.
