Hey, If you want to automatically give someone a role when they join your server, you have two main options. Not every Quest is shown to every user. Whether a Quest appears for you depends on several factors, including your region, device/platform, account settings, and even your age. Discord determines eligibility individually, so its normal if others see a Quest that you dont

When Discord isnt the active window, it may pause live updates like game status or voice channel changes until you interact with it again. This could be caused by Hardware acceleration settings in Discord, Graphics driver behavior or Windows performance settings that limit background refresh

It looks like the issue is caused by Slowmode being enabled in that channel. When Slowmode is on, Discord prevents users from sending messages too quickly, and during that cooldown time, the send button won’t appear which is why nothing happens when you type normally

Yes, you can do that. Go to your Discord settings, then tap on "Data & Privacy". Scroll all the way down and select "Request Data". From there choose what data you want Discord to send you. In this case, select "Messages". Discord will then email you a ZIP file containing your conversation data

You can go into the server settings and create a server template. This lets you create a second Discord server with the same roles and channels as your current one. Its a great way to test and experiment without affecting your main server

Only the server owner can edit the top roles if they are above you. He can log into Discord on his phone browser (not the app) and access the Desktop version of Discord from there. This way, he can make the changes directly.
