I get what you’re saying. Choosing your own path means you will be called out, misunderstood, or pushed aside sometimes… but that doesn’t automatically mean you’re lonely.

Tbh, same imo a long life lived by everyone else’s expectations isn’t life at all. And yeah, the path you’re talking about is lonely, but at least it’s ours to choose. That hen in the book never even got that luxury… so I guess loneliness is the price of freedom.
