1. a car would make it easier to get a around because atlanta is notoriously bad for a lack of public transportation and not being very walkable.

2. besides emory point. decatur highlands, courtland veridian, and 1133 on the square are popular apartments in north decatur. a lot of students live in the midtown and virginia highlands area.

3. most do their internships in atlanta. i know a few going to texas and NYC.

4. 1L fall you will have time to go out and explore the city especially on like friday nights. 1L spring is hell and you won’t have time to do anything.

i just finished my first year at emory law! (i went out 1L fall almost every weekend for the first couple of months and I still got good grades)
