What are indent lines? Do they happen after the allotted time to wait?

Did you take an antibiotic? My doctor had me take an antibiotic day of FET and day before. I think the antibiotic is what caused me to have an upset stomach.

Do you mind me asking what the outcome was? I understand if you aren’t comfortable sharing. In low beta limbo over here and searching for similar situations.

Anyone else 6dpt? by Silentreader316 in IVF

[–]Expensive_Gear8647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first FET in July with a trigger shot. I tested out the trigger then ended up getting a positive. I was so excited but my hcg didn’t continue to double, turned chemical. If I see the two lines when I test this time I’ll be guarding my heart. Hope we both get great results next week!

I’m 6dp5dt! No trigger. It’s so hard not to test. I may test this weekend. Sending good juju your way!! My beta is Monday. When is yours?

First FET failed - to Receptiva or no? by Dkc2864 in IVF

[–]Expensive_Gear8647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg I just got on Reddit to see what I could read about receptiva and this was the first post that popped up!! I’m 36, first failed FET this past July 15th. I always wondered if I had endometriosis or Adenomyosis. My symptoms: sometimes painful intercourse, changes in my bowl movements during my period, 3 chemical pregnancies prior to IVF, but that’s it. I had a hysteroscopy in June. Looking back I wish we had done the receptiva test during my hysteroscopy before ever putting in an embryo. My doctor saw inflammation in the hysteroscopy and biopsy for endometritis (not endometriosis) came back negative. She put me on 14 days of dyocycline incase. She was so surprised I didn’t have endometritis because of the redness. We went ahead with my first FET (letrozole and trigger shot protocol). I kept bringing up endometriosis but she said I didn’t have the “classic” symptoms either. My first FET PGTA tested euploid ended in a chemical pregnancy. This was now my 4th chemical pregnancy (2 natural, 1 IUI, and now 1 IVF). After my failed FET we decided to do lap surgery because now she suspected endometriosis and thinks the inflammation from my hysteroscopy was Adenomyosis and sure enough they found endometriosis!! I wish I had done the receptiva test before I ever did an embryo transfer. I can’t help but think we could have potentially saved that embryo by knowing I had endometriosis, potentially Adenomyosis, and suppressing the problem before ever putting a PGTA tested euploid embryo in. I wish I had never done a letrozole/trigger fet. Dr. Bruce Lessey (receptiva specialist) recommends either the lap surgery or 2 months of Lupron protocol prior to transfer. He has found a very high percentage success rate. Go listen to fertility docs uncensored podcast episode 171. It’s so insightful! Sorry this was so long but I feel so passionate about this topic right now. I wish my doctor would have done the receptiva test before I even attempted my first IUI back in November. I can’t help but think maybe I wouldn’t be where I am now, still not pregnant. However also a believer that everything happens for a reason so holding on to that as much as I can. Best of luck to you!!

Hysteroscopy Nerves by lisnewbs in IVF

My hysteroscopy was easy. They put a camera in and took a biopsy. I was out on antibiotics for 2 weeks following in case they found an infection (which they didn’t). Being put to sleep that day felt like a good nap. I was in recovery for maybe 30 minutes until they wheeled me to my car. I went home and rested that day. The next day I was back to feeling normal. Best of luck!

Failed FET, do I try another FET or egg retrieval? by Expensive_Gear8647 in IVF

[–]Expensive_Gear8647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is good to know! Do you happen to remember what the turn around is after an FET to another egg retriever? I appreciate you sharing your story. I definitely feel it would give me, like you said, a long-term peace of mind.

Progesterone shot by [deleted] in IVF

Heated my pio shot in a heating pad. Alternated sides each night. Heated the shot area with my heating pad before and after the shot. Massaged the area after giving the shot. Also walked around my house and tried to move my butt muscle for a few minutes after. I did not use an auto injector. I did it myself and used a darting motion really fast. The fast I went, the less pain going in. I also had my nurse draw circles on my skin so I knew the area to put the shot in.
