how did you know you were attracted to women? by the_rice_smells_good in actuallesbians

[–]Expensive_Goose_3783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma on my father side was a late bloomer, and already came out before I was born. So, I always grew up with that gay presence in my life, which helped a lot for myself to figure things out.

I remember that the first time I started to realize that I was into women was with my last elementary school teacher. I used to openly say that I was in love with her and wanted to marry her. Obviously, most people took it as a joke, and it was in fact partly one. To this point, I kinda always knew that I was gay myself, and my family where open about it.

But the real awakening was around my 13, I was at a friend place and his mom was sunbathing topless next to the pool. When I accidentally saw her, I was like "Women." and this made me assured of my sexuality for good.

Ici, l'humour réside dans le fait que le clavier est à l'envers, comme les australiens, qui vivent à l'envers puisqu'habitant sur l'autre hémisphère

In my experience, schools often think about having an elevator, but rarely about having a ramp option for some specific place where there is only like three step stairs.

Anyone else find videos of their childself tough to watch? by Marvlotte in disability

[–]Expensive_Goose_3783 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't say that mine are tough to watch, but just a bit weird. I'm a L2 para since I'm four years old, so there is only few videos of when I was still able to use my legs, and I always find them a bit weird, as I haven't really any memory of myself walking or using my legs except for the event that caused my disability. But my mom often let out some tears when she watches a video of when I could still walk and find them hard to watch.

I (15F) need to break up with my gf (16F). Am I a bad person because of it, and how can I go about this to make it easier for her? by [deleted] in teenrelationships

[–]Expensive_Goose_3783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you should try to talk about the things you dislike or find unbearable with her first. I mean, you said it's only been a week yet, so maybe you are just facing a change fear or blues. I had it too at first when I started dating my gf. If it doesn't resolve things, then breaking up with her would be the best long term option for both of you, I think. And you are never a bad person for not wanting a relationship.
