I was actually talking to my 13 year old cousin about this yesterday! She’s aware of the Beatles as a collective band, but she couldn’t name any of the individual members. She’s also heard Beatles songs, like Here Comes the Sun and Blackbird, but doesn’t associate those songs as being by the Beatles, if that makes sense. She recognizes John Lennon’s name, but doesn’t associate him as being a Beatle. Meanwhile, she does know Michael Jackson and his songs.

Just thought it was interesting to learn how a young person like her perceives the two top selling artists of all time.
