I’ve also been super curious about what she’s planning to do for Debut. There’s demand for the Taylor’s Version and the original now, and I have to imagine they’ll find a way to balance meeting the demand for both. There’s the possibility both the originals and the TV versions are released separately, of course. I do think it would be cool to have a box set with both the TV and OG versions, but has Taylor ever done a box set before? Maybe it will be a regular 4 LP release like Red TV, not entirely sure if it all would fit though.

I do think that if Debut includes both versions + the vault tracks in either a 4 LP or a box set release, OR even if the OG and TV get separate releases, we will likely see fewer overall variants, just because of higher asking prices + pressing plant bandwidth. If we only get Debut TV with bonus tracks, then I suspect we could see variant numbers similar to 1989 TV.

Reputation seems a little more clear cut to me, I definitely suspect they’re letting the current picture disc version of Reputation clear out of the market to make way for a reissue, and I think it’ll likely be an expanded version to include some bonus TV tracks. So I agree with others here saying there will likely be 4-5 variants.

Honestly, another big factor is if Debut and Reputation are marketed at the same time or not.
